Summary: We stayed here as a family with 2 kids and enjoyed the quiet location of the Apartment away from the main tourists street in Cabourg. Still it is just a 3 minutes walk to the beach and a 5 minutes walk to the main tourist street with, for example, the bakery to get your fresh baguette in the morning. The Apartment was well cleaned and nicely equipped. It even has an oven, which I think was missing in the describtion here so that comes as a bonus. You have a private parking lot so no worry about searching for a place for your car. The communication with the owner upfront was nice and friendly, upon arrival we were welcomed by a local who brought the key and showed us the Apartment. The beds were also very good and the living room big enough to easily host the four of us. All in all we enjoyed our stay here. But I unfortunately have to subtract one star due to the shower in the bathroom. The bathroom is below the inclined ceiling and there is no way to use the shower for showering in the bathtub except for somehow being seated and handheld the shower. But of course bathing is perfectly possible, so that is no big deal.

Summary: We stayed here in late august with our 10 year old son. We found the apartment to be nice, in a very quiet area of Cabourg. We had nice weather and the Balcony was a real bonus. The apartment was equipped pretty well, with a good selection of utensils in the kitchen, the only thing we found missing was a kettle, but we just boiled water in a pan instead. The center of Cabourb was about a 15 minute walk, where we found a good selection of eateries which would suit most budgets. The beach was about a 5 minute walk and was huge and just lovely. The tide does go out a long way so you need to ensure you time your visit with the tide if you want to go for a dip. I have given this 4 stars as the shower was an over bath thing next to the sloping roof which was a little awkward, and there was nowhere to put the showerhead as you washed your hair. We do speak a little french but the person showing us around spoke zero English (or just declined to) which made things a little awkward. I was also disappointed to find we had to pay an extra 30 euros for bedding, which i did not know about when booking. But they are all fairly minor points, its a nice quite apartment for a reasonable price.
