Welcome to our beautiful piece of the Northwoods! Come stay at this brand new, built in 2017 cabin on a 6 acre wooded lot located on a private drive. This 2300 square foot home features 4 bedrooms, two bathroom, family room, and a huge loft to accommodate up to 14 adults. The Master Bedroom features a king size bed, while the bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have a queen beds. Moving up to the loft, you find 3 more queen beds for your comfort. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove, microwave AND a dishwasher), plenty of counter space for all the necessities of your cooking, with lots of room at the dining table to eat, entertain, play board games, dice, or cards.
Being so close to the Rock Dam Lake, you will have the opportunity to fully enjoy the outdoors: ATV or Snowmobile right off of the property, jet-ski, or swim at the lake. There are two bars with food and beverages right on the lake, if you choose to eat out.
Towels and sheets are provided at the cabin, so don't you worry about packing all that!

Summary: The cabin was a beautiful house set in the woods. We had plenty of comfortable space for the entire family of 12, which included children from 1 to 7. The beautiful wood plank stairway was a safety concern for the young children and the stairs high sheen was a bit slippery. This home is perfect for an adult get together and is a peaceful get away.

Summary: We were a group of 9 adults and 1 dog. The house had plenty of room for us all to spread out and be comfortable. We loved the large deck most of all. Kitchen amenities were much appreciated as we did a lot of cooking. Interior stairs were a little uncomfortable, just take it slowly on the way down. Beautiful house, communicative hosts. Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: This was a great space to spend time together as a family! Plenty of beds, 2 full bathrooms, large kitchen with lots of counter space. Table large enough to seat 14 people if you need it. The only thing that was hard was not having a washer where we could was a load of laundry, I would have definitely paid extra for that.

Summary: We spent the first night with extended family, which accommodated everyone appropriately. Then spent the rest of the time with just my immediate family. We enjoyed the view of the woods, the atmosphere, and playing many games on the oversized dinning table!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. We got together with extended family to relax, bake cookies, watch movies and play games. We walked to the Rock Dam area which was beautiful. Overall the property is great. Suggestions….some salt for the deck area would be good. One of the loft beds feels like sleeping directly on a box spring and the basement is very cold, but we would like to return next year!

Summary: We had multiple families stay, and we were thankful to have plenty of beds for all. The proximity to the beach and playground were a plus - just a few minutes drive away. The kitchen was well equipped, and despite the “no soap” message, there was dish soap in the kitchen and hand soap in each of the bathrooms. The backyard was great space for croquet and ladder ball, and the big dining table (not updated in photos when we booked) was fabulous for meals and games. Two notes that others have commented on, too: the natural wood stairs were beautiful, but they were slippery and uneven - a few in our party scraped the backs of their ankles on the bark edging. Also, noise carries very well - no carpet or rugs to absorb sound - so nighttime with bed springs and bathroom trips and various kid noises were easily heard. Maybe bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Also, the basement is pretty cool with a cement floor, so pending the season, slippers would be a good move. Overall, though, we did enjoy our stay!

Summary: On the whole, this rental was a good location for our gathering of two large families: enough space, enough rooms and beds, big enough table for meals, private location. The kitchen was well stocked with good pots and pans and we loved cooking on the gas stove. The house was super close to Rock Dam park and beach, so that was convenient. Everything else, though, was a good 20+ minute drive away. We loved being in Amish/Mennonite country, and got fresh veggies from their local farmstands. There are a few things that need improvement, however. Several of the beds sunk BADLY in the middle and ours on the main floor creaked with literally every movement. The A/C was very uneven. Those in the basement were cold, while those in the loft area sweated through the night. Also, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen area that remained for the rest of the stay. Overall, we were able to enjoy our stay and our time together, which is the main thing!
