Summary: Unlike many rentals this is clearly a much loved family vacation house so it has a lot of character - vibrant artwork, an eclectic collection of furniture, a million cookbooks. potted plants inside & out and a kitchen stocked with every pot and utensil that my family which likes to cook together could hope for. The outside spaces - a comfortable covered porch for naps & a deck - where we ate dinners - overlook the lawn that slowly rolls down to the river. Lots of native wildlife - hummingbirds, black squirrels, geese, eagles, porcupine - to watch. We borrowed the owner's tubes & kayaks & floated from the boat launch in Narrowsburg back to the house - about 1 1/2 hours. Our only disappointment was that only 3 of the 4 bedrooms have ac window units. We moved the owner's floor fans into the 4th bedroom which worked once the nighttime temperature cooled down. There is only one house key which took some planning. Minor issues overall. Highly recommend this lovely vacation rental. Hope to return.

Summary: Rarely do things exceed expectations on this level ..the natural beauty both inside and out is just amazing. We had a perfect restorative week in this magical spot .Thanks so much

Summary: Larissa was a communicative and helpful host. She gave great recommendations from the area and made sure our stay was easy and comfortable. The property is cozy and homey, and the location is excellent. It was an amazing experience having the Delaware River literally in our backyard! Only 15 minute walk from town with lots of great stores and restaurants. Looking forward to staying here again!

Summary: Maybe the best place we've ever rented. Original art on the walls. Comfort inside and out. Natural beauty on the river--eagles, deer. The water was perfect for wading. Great for kayaking. Easy walk into the nice little town of Narrowsburg, with several restaurants. We felt entirely happy and at peace. Already planning to return.

Summary: Wonderfully restored house on beautiful stretch of the Delaware River. Eagles, bass and trout were in abundance. Covered porch was appreciated during brief showers. The house was well stocked and quite spacious. We really enjoyed our five night stay.

Summary: My husband and I with our two young boys, ages 8 & 5, had a wonderful, quiet week stay here in Narrowsburg. We love the Deleware River and this house is located right on the river! The boys fished from the shore and from the row boat provided by the owners. The house itself is gorgeous, comfortable and has everything you need. There's a small grocery store not even a 5 min drive, where I found everything I needed for our meals and evening camp fires. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is it!

Summary: I don’t even know where to begin! The pictures do not do this place justice! We stayed for a couple of nights over Columbus Day weekend, and it was truly incredible. The yard is enormous and you are surrounded by all the beauties of nature. We saw deer, beavers, bald eagles, chipmunks. We caught fish in the river. You could hear some light rapids up the river, which was so soothing. We made s’mores, jumped in leaves, rolled down hills, watched the sun rise, saw a million stars at night. It was a dream trip. My 5 year old said it best...”mommy, it’s like we’re in a storybook”. This place is so picturesque. The home itself is much bigger than the pictures even show. It was so cozy. The tv room is gorgeous, with French doors and windows all around. A constant view of your beautiful surroundings. This place is the perfect escape. Relaxing as can be. And Main Street is so close and adorable. We can’t wait to take a trip back to the River House! Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that Larissa was the perfect host. Checking in was flawless and she made sure I knew she was always available if we needed anything. Even texted me while we were there to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and that everything was running smoothly. Book this place! You won’t regret it!

Summary: This property was the perfect house for our family. We enjoyed the mornings, afternoon and evens sitting in the yard and looking at the Eagles and all the nature and sitting in the river. Narrowsburg is one of our favorite places to rest.
