Summary: The property was close enough to comfortably travel back n forth to services. The host was very accommodating. I would say that the steps were hard for us because we were mostly seniors with back and knee issues Rooms were larger than local motels.

Summary: The interior of the home was very clean with comfortable furniture. There were plentiful dishes and linens throughout. The outdoor areas were far nicer than anticipated. The photos simply do not do justice to the many sitting areas and picturesque views. Those views were only helped by the family of 5 deer that stopped by regularly.

Summary: The property is beautiful, very clean and has such charm with the family/history touches. The outdoor property is as beautiful as the home itself. Plenty of room and a great kitchen for cooking in. Perfect location for visiting New River Gorge. Would definitely stay here again if we were to return to the area!

Summary: I'm from WV but move to Wisconsin over 30 years ago. I still have family in tye state and my father is in the nursing house in Hinton. To be able to come in and spendtime with my family enjoying the mountains and coutry life that I truly miss. To see all the wild life the river right in front of the house was the best. After my first visit for Christmas i knew that i wanted to book with you again. You house make you feel as if your own home. Thank you for allowing me to book with you again.

Summary: It was disappointing to find the previous clients were still in the house upon our arrival at 8 pmWhile the owner did agree to find us alternate accommodation for the night, our party was tired from traveling and did not want to leave unpack repack for one night. Thus stayed in the 2 unused bedrooms that these people did not use. Owner offered to have home clean d that night but again due to travel fatigue they came and cleaned in AM. I felt that a full nights stay should be reimbursed but owner would only give half. The home was nice upstairs bath more modern. Downstairs bath very tiny outdated with a sewer gas odor that seeps into the adjacent bedroom

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The property has a good vibe, from scenery, lots of yard to nice home filled with nice details and educational material of the town and area. The house was clean and well supplied - we had everything we needed. There were different areas to hang out throughout the property. Wonderful views from the front porch of the mountains, river and sunsets.

Summary: Hands down you have the best home I've ever stayed at. My family really enjoyed being able to come over and have dinner ever night. Your home is very clean. I really like that you have a lot of pots and pans. All the history that you have on Hinton WV was really eye opening we all enjoyed learning about Hinton WV. My family and I really loved and enjoyed your house it makes you really feel at home.
