Summary: It was kind of nice being located in the village of Stratton, close to restaurants and the grocery store. Being at the edge of town, the location was quiet, with nice wooded scenery out the window. The house itself was in tip-top shape and appropriately rustic in decor, like you would expect of a cabin in Maine, but the heat, plumbing, internet, etc. were all up to date. The only thing I missed was the lack of appropriate cocktail tools so that I could make my evening Manhattans, but I did manage to improvise.

Summary: This was a great location for our ski trip to Sugarloaf. The home was even better than described in the listing and the hosts were responsive and helpful. Would recommend a stay.

Summary: We spent a week kayaking Flagstaff Lake and riding the ATV trails. The camp is on a dead end road. It was quiet and peaceful during our stay. The property was fantastic! Clean, comfortable, and the log structure was nice and cool (it was very hot and humid the week we stayed). The camp was within walking distance of the lake in order to take a swim. The ATV trails are a very short distance away, across route 27. We think it would be a great base for snowmobiling as well. Craig, the property manager, was great to work with and responded quickly to my one inquiry. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: The place was better than advertised. It was “base camp” for us as we attended a family members wedding. The quiet, cool , clean cabin was perfect for us, brother, his wife, our mother and myself. We had our space, yet we could eat and relax. I highly recommend it.

Summary: This property was as amazing as advertised. We had a summer getaway in the mountains. It was close to Sugarliaf and Rangeley. We had everything we needed for our stay. Craig was wonderful with all my questions and telling us where there were things we should visit! We are already talking about coming back!

Summary: The cabin is in a ideal location for a ski trip. We spent 2 days at the Loaf (10 minutes down the road) sandwiched around a day at Saddleback (maybe 40 minutes away). Cabin is exactly as advertised other than 1 of the bedrooms having bunk-beds rather that the full or queen sized bed shown in the photos. Craig the property manager was super responsive and we were all very comfortable with the accommodations. I would not hesitate to book another stay for next year's trip.

Summary: We were delighted with the place. It was quiet, clean and spacious with a fabulous wood stove. Beds were comfortable. And we had great snow conditions. Our only request (minor) is that we would have liked a tea kettle.

Summary: Our family really enjoyed this cozy cabin! It was perfect for all of our needs! This cabin is so beautiful and had everything to accommodate our family! The owner was quick to respond to my questions before we arrived. Location was Key for us, few minutes to the mountain! The general store right down the street was great for picking up a few extra things!
