5 Bedroom House in Midtown, San Antonio

Woodlawn Manor is a charming updated 1915 craftsman home with modern amenities, new appliances and a pool. Relax in style and comfort while enjoying the historic hardwood floors and 11 ft high ceilings.
The space
When you enter the foyer, there is a guest half bath and entrance to the Master suite, with a spa like bathroom including a stand alone tub and multiple shower experience. Also off of the foyer is the entrance to the living area which is open and connected to the large kitchen and dinning room. It is a great open living plan where everyone can gather, eat and relax. Downstairs also has 2 more bedrooms and 1 more full bath. The front "parlor" bedroom is a historic treat with chandelier, wrap around leaded windows and 1915 fireplace with mantel.
Upstairs is a private but open loft with a king bed, a full bed, and a twin bed, and a half bath.
Outside the back door you will find the casita (5th bedroom and full bath), a private gated area with the pool and two separate sitting areas. This is a private pool with no Life-gaurd. Swim at your own risk.

Summary: This is the perfect location and a beautiful old home. The neighborhood is situated close to everything- downtown, the Quarry, the Zoo and the Pearl are all easily accessible. We were able to walk (safely and right around the corner) to a few restaurants and coffee shops. The home is spacious and the pool was large enough for our kids to spread out and play and float without feeling cramped. We enjoyed our family get-a-way here!

Summary: What a gorgeous home. Huge bedrooms, spacious gorgeous kitchen. Loved the outdoor area with pool. The neighborhood was perfect for walking, with streets full of historic old homes. 5 minute drive to the Pearl and river walk. Will def be back!

Summary: Lots of space. Well- equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms. Close drive to The Pearl. La Fonda is walking distance with great food. Thermostats did not cool consistently. Bedrooms got very warm at night.

Summary: What caught our eye was where the property was situated. Directly between the airport and the downtown sights. Only 5 minutes to the riverwalk and 10 minutes from the airport. We wanted to stay in a local neighborhood. Sat on the front porch almost every evening and chatted with the locals as they wandered by. Friendly folks in a clean neighborhood. The house had a great gathering area for us to plan our next day activities, yet we all had our own room when it as time to turn in. Should we visit San Antonio again we will definitely see if this property is available again.
