Summary: Flowering bushes and fluttering butterflies surround a lovely backyard pool, set in a serene rural setting. We very much enjoyed our escape from the city. And Hal took very good care of us.

Summary: My family and I spent a relaxing weekend at Hal and Gay’s cottage. The pool is huge and luxurious, surrounded by greenery and a view of the mountain and valley. Their home is clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Hal’s hospitality and friendliness was beyond standard fare - he made sure we were fed and comfortable after a long drive from the city. This was perfect for my family and a perfect end to summer. Thank you Hal

Summary: Our week at Hal and Gay’s cottage was exactly what two space and family starved New Yorkers needed. The house is terrific and the pool is incredible. We were able to grill for basically every meal and really enjoyed visiting with our hosts too! We also noted that it would be a perfect space to rent when my husbands family visits from California because the bed/bath set up allows for a lot of privacy. We can’t wait to come back!
