Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with Lower Level walkout to the lake. 3 bedrooms on second level with half bath. Full bath located on Main level and full bath located in Lower Level. Main level has large living room, sitting area, kitchen with a walkout porch and grill provided. Views of the lake from all rooms.
Great spot on the main channel, and a short walk into town with a bakery, shops and various restaurants. Fine dining to casual, music and nightclubs to cater to any taste.
Okauchee Lake is a 1,210 acre lake with areas as deep as 125 feet. Types of fish include Musky, Panfish, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The area offers a chain of 20 lakes! Scenic hiking and skiing trails within a short driving distance.
Whether you are looking to relax and unwind, or fish, boat and hike, there is something for everyone. Numerous parks throughout the area and just a 30 minute ride to downtown Milwaukee. We guarantee your stay will not disappoint!

Summary: My family and I had a very enjoyable stay on the lake. It was exactly the summer getaway we had hoped for. The house itself was very clean upon arrival and met our needs perfectly for indoor and outdoor living, including the deck facing the lake to enjoy morning coffee and grilling in the evening. The lake frontage is beautiful and centrally located. The home is very close to many bars and restaurants making it easy to walk or access them by boat. The host was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

Summary: Really nice location on the lake. Has a dock we used to rent a boat. House was great for our family and had all we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Met all expectations described in the listing. We had a great time at Kim’s. Stairs for all access: not for toddlers or anyone who needs assistance to walk. Stairs/railings from parking to house need work.

Summary: Very nice home for a vacation. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 4 adults. Very clean and know problems the entire week. The property manager Jane was checking in with us to make sure everything was good.

Summary: The house was very well done, fully updated with a great location. Our boys enjoyed good fishing off the pier and the convenience to Okauchee’s restaurants was great. The neighbors were extremely nice and communication with the owner was easy as well. We would absolutely stay again!

Summary: We had a great stay at this house. It was exactly what we needed. The owner responded to us in a timely fashion, and answered all our questions in a very positive way. The rooms were exactly as presented on the website. The kitchen was well equipped. The view of the lake was great. The neighborhood was quiet. We have no complaints at all. Our two year old granddaughter came over almost everyday with her parents, and there was plenty of room for her to run around in the living room or the lower level. We wanted a place where we could be together as a family and not have to go out to eat for every meal, and this met our needs completely.

Summary: We enjoyed the location of the house, the neighbors were very friendly. The communication through text and app between 2 different property managers, then the owner was a bit confusing and contradicting. The property is not maintained as well as we thought from the listing pictures. The listing says there’s a play area outside but the yard is hilly with rock walls under the grass and dirt beds. The parts of flat yard were covered in leaves from before winter. It only stood out so much because all the neighbors within view had cleared back yards and nice grass. The day before we left, a worker came and only raked the leaves to a part of the flat yard and covered then with a tarp versus being removed. The management said they couldn’t get the yard raked before we got there on 4/8 (booked 12 days out) but then the owner said it could’ve been done? Confusing. The younger children basically just ran up and down the steps, the narrow flat yard behind the rocks which were on the edge of the water and the piers. Not the safest set up for kids and it’s difficult to see that in the pictures. Just a heads up if you have younger kids! My nephew cut the bottom of his foot on a rusted screw sticking up in the deck, it bled and it was pretty traumatic and painful for a 5 year old. The owner was more upset about unraveling throw pillows and stain on the dingy couch. Which I found out later the pillows were already like that and there was a different preexisting stain on the couch. With the issues we addressed to the management on our last day the owner blamed us for some of the issues which turned out to be preexisting. I think the previous renters never brought up issues so once we did, it definitely seemed like a lot. The owner was very dismissive to us and held no accountability to anything besides the dirty bed pillows. I work in hospitality so I was disappointed in the lack thereof. I’m really grateful for the protection plan I got when I booked the house. The owner wanted to bill me for everything she thought was wrong once she started looking around. I highly recommend getting that protection plan, super helpful!
