4 Bedroom House in Venetian Shores, Islamorada

This charming home sits on a large tropical lot (100' dock) with a great tiki and a large hot tub for late afternoon relaxation. Venetian Shores is a beautiful, quiet neighborhood perfect for strolling, jogging and bicycling. There is covered parking for one vehicle and a long driveway, and space to store a boat trailer off of the driveway. The house is located midway on the canal off of beautiful Snake Creek and within just a few short minutes of the Atlantic and Gulf bay. There are lots of fishing opportunities right off the dock also! The constant flow of water brings cool water and lots of sea life, even an occasional manatee. In one direction from Snake Creek is the Gulf and Everglades National Park, and the other is the Atlantic, both a very short boat ride from the canal.
This house boasts a huge upstairs screened porch facing east, perfect for outside shaded dining and entertaining. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with its own bath and king bed, the other furnished with a king bed. There is a larger bath in the hall adjacent to the bedroom. A stacked, washer/dryer is located upstairs as well. The large eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and has additional bar seating. The living room offers lots of seating with views of the water through the large screened porch. Ideal for entertaining, there are two sets of tables and chairs, a bbq grill and a beautiful view from the porch.
The downstairs living area houses two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator and sink) and another full bath. One bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and the other has a twin and a queen. There is another covered patio downstairs.
The 100' wide deep water dock has shore power hook-ups for large boats and there is a fish cleaning stand. There are lots of loungers and chairs downstairs for easy relaxing, and a hammock is nestled between the palms for a water view. Since swimming in the canal is a favorite activity, there is a ladder off the dock for easy access. There is also a portable outdoor shower.

Summary: This is our 2nd year staying at this home. Plenty of room inside and out. We take boats, jet skis, paddleboards etc. The house has room for as many friends and family as you want to take. Venetian Shores is a great area for all activities, great ocean access via snake creek, quiet neighborhood. We will be going back soon.

Summary: As new empty nesters, we were excited to get away to the warmth of Florida. The house is in a wonderful neighborhood with plenty of biking and walking. The house has four nice size bedrooms with great beds. There is plenty of living space. The best spot is the screened patio; perfect for meals! The hot tub was a warm welcome at the end of a day of fishing or snorkeling. The bulkhead is a great size with ladders to access the canal or your kayak. Wonderful! Can't wait to return next year!

Summary: Vacations in Islamorada are a favorite in our family, and we stay at this wonderful home year after year because it is just perfect! There is plenty of room for our large family, very comfortable "home" feeling (even with small children) with all the amenities, large screened in porch upstairs, always clean, and impeccably maintained. This home is in a great location with easy boat access to oceanside or bayside and is close to shops and dining. We spend lots of time swimming in the canal and love to relax in the hot tub under the tiki after a day out on the water. This is a wonderful home that we can't say enough good things about!

Summary: We stayed in this house for 28 days. If you are a boater this is the perfect location. Right off snake creek and a 5 minute idle into the ocean. Hot tub a Tiki hut---awesome

Summary: We booked this home for our annual "Keys get away" and was impressed beyond expectations. The floor plan accommodated our large family with plenty of room for our extended stay. From the large downstairs suite to the upstairs main house this home will not disappoint. The furnishings were very current, everything was clean and well maintained and the owners were professional and very accommodating. The location is in the heart of Islamorada with easy access to many great restaurants, shops and attractions. The waterway behind the house became our favorite daily ritual. We swam right off the dock, snorkeled and floated the afternoons away ending each evening soaking in the views in the hot tub under the authentic Chickee thatch Tiki hut built by a Seminole Indians! By the end of our trip we really felt like locals. We are already planning our next "Keys Vacation” and will be booking this amazing home again!

Summary: My family and I enjoyed the best 7 weeks in the Keys thanks to this home and it's owners. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It is very obvious that the owners love this house, and want their guests to love the home as well. Mission accomplished as my family can't wait until we have a chance to stay at the home again.
