Luxury apartment newly renovated with a vintage cachet on 2 floors situated on the sunny side of the famous Gouin street in Montréal! In a quiet residentiel arrea, this appartment is perfect and well equiped to welcome families (with young children) and small groups. Close to all commodities (5 to 10 mins walk). Also 2 mins walk to public transport and 20 mins away from down town. Very close to the famous Claude Robillard sport center. We are previlaged to have many parcs around as well as a running and bycicle line just in front!

Summary: Family of 5 visiting for a week. The place was very comfortable, spacious, clean, was true its description. Louie and Natalie were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. We enjoyed a walk along the water and park. We will definitely stay there again.

Summary: Natalie and Louis are wonderful hosts. The location was perfect for our foursome. Each of us had our own beautifully appointed room. There were games, books, puzzles and toy for small children available if needed to pass the evening after a full day seeing Montreal. Louis referred us to several restaurants in the area and they were perfectly lovely for us. We all agreed that we will be back! Thank you Natalie and Louis!

Summary: Louis and Nathalie were amazing hosts; when we lost power because of the snowstorm, they helped us to quickly find a solution for the rest of our stay in Montreal. Their home is warm and cozy, and our children loved the board games and books.

Summary: We traveled as two families (two adults and four kids ages ranging from 9-18) and the flat was perfect for our large group, convenient to downtown, and clean and comfortable. Natalie and Louis were welcoming and communicative before our arrival and during our stay. Would definitely book again.

Summary: the steep stairs at the very beginning is the only downside. if you have lot of luggage, baby related things, this property will be difficult. young adults and older families will enjoy this artistic, architecturally pleasing, historical home. the downstairs with glass doors has less privacy but the multi-room upstairs is very spacious with many rooms. bathrooms are limited as there is no traditional showerhead upstairs. very nice dining room for great family meal. feels cozy and homely but just hard walk upstairs after front door.

Summary: This apartment is a great place to stay in a quiet residential neighborhood in northern Montreal. The building is a top/bottom duplex - the owners live on the lower floor, and the rental is the top two floors (note: if you have mobility issues, this may not be a good option because it's a steep flight of steps up to the main floor, and another to the upper floor). The owners greeted us for the check-in, showed us around the whole place, and gave a number of great dining recommendations within walking distance of the unit. The unit itself is plenty spacious; we were 5 (4 adults and a child) and there was a lot of room to spread out and get comfortable. It was stocked with plenty of bedding and towels, and the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were laundry supplies and plenty of kitchen supplies as well. The main floor has a couple of built-in A/C units and each of the upstairs bedrooms has its own unit. There were also plenty of fans available if needed. The owners also provided butter, eggs, bread, croissants, fruit, jams, milk, and coffee, which was a very nice welcoming touch. A couple of things to be aware of for the property: (1) as another review noted, the fridges are two bar fridges, which we found to be plenty spacious for our needs for a week; (2) the main floor bathroom has a standard shower; for the upstairs bathroom, the soaking tub (which is great!) has a hand-held shower unit, and the ceiling is slanted so it might not be a viable shower option if you're tall. We'd highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay (or a quiet place to stay during an otherwise busy trip to Montreal)!

Summary: Myself, my husband and our 5 year old son stayed here for ten days. Our hosts Nathalie and Louis were so nice and welcoming. I’ve stayed at many properties, and their attention to detail and consideration are above and beyond. They’d brought eggs, milk, butter, jam and a fresh loaf of bread for our first morning. You can really tell that they’ve tried to think of everything you might need. The house has a variety of tea, honey, jars of cereal and oats. The laundry includes detergent and stain remover (we have a five year old, so we needed it). The house itself is beautiful, with hardwood floors and a sunroom dining area that was perfect for eating with friends and soaking up the ambiance. The TV has Netflix, there are comfy throws on every couch, and a big claw foot tub upstairs. When our visit became unseasonably warm, Louis spent time installing air conditioning in the bedrooms and didn’t mind our son helping. Nathalie also let him help her garden and they were so kind with him, even when he muddied their deck. There are many steep stairs that my older in-laws had trouble managing, it might be tough with very small children as well. There is a park and playground just one block away. There’s even a small balcony to sit on, through the lovely stained glass door. The kitchen is really well equipped (there was even a package of birthday candles in the drawer!) The fridges are two small bar fridges, not a full sized one. Our son liked his stay so much that he threatened to move back to Montréal when he didn’t want to go to bed, haha. You will not regret choosing to stay here with such gracious hosts and a beautiful house and location.
