Welcome to Hyatt House. This is the best location in Pawson Park! You can sit on the porch and watch the kids play on thr beach directly in front of the house. This house has a recently redone kitchen, large bathroom and laundry room. This is the perfect house for families. Minimum of five day rental from July 1 through Labor Day.
The house is available for an academic rental from September to May for $3,500 per month. This rate only applies if your booking the property for a majority of the September to May period.

Summary: This was our third stay at the Hyatt House. It always feels like coming home. I spent my summers as a kid in the area so it’s that but also how comfortable this house is. It suits our family well. This year not all could make it and we only rented for a week but it still was great fun and very relaxing. When we arrived the Pawson Park block party was in full swing. We enjoyed the party atmosphere. The band that night was great to dance to and the fireworks amazing. What a welcome to our vacation. The porch is always our favorite place for breakfast lunch or dinner or just relaxing with a drink after a day at the beach. Beds are very comfortable, outdoor shower a delight, kitchen small but well stocked with all the gadgets you may need. For someone coming for the first time just know the walk from the driveway to the house is a little long especially when you are unloading or loading your car. We bring a folding dolly to help with the task. The back yard is nice in the evening while you are grilling but bring your camp chairs as we did as there is no other seating besides beach chairs. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. If you have any issues, which we didn’t, the property manager is just a phone call away. All in all we hope to return again to this beautiful house and enjoy its gifts for May years to come. Thx Martin!!

Summary: Hyatt House quite easily lived up to the description and comments. A lovely, renovated cottage with a layout oriented to the 180 degree unobstructed view of the LI Sound, it comfortably sleeps about 9. The private beach is steps from the back door. The kitchen met all basic needs. Lovely, fully stocked pantry. Outdoor shower is heavenly. Those living in the Pawson Park community are a very friendly bunch. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Hyatt and I am already looking at the 2018 summer calendar in the hope of a return. Many thanks.

Summary: This was our third year spending a week at Hyatt House. It's perfect in every way. The house is both beautiful and also really easy for a family like ours with little kids. The location is perfect. perfect. perfect. Right across from a small, calm beach. And the support -- the cleaners, the person to contact if you have questions -- are also great. Perfect.

Summary: Hyatt House is a very special place. It is a charming, historic beach house which has been lovingly renovated and maintained. Indeed, the amenities are numerous; Martin and his staff have not forgotten anything. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped; the house is open, airy and comfortable; the front porch facing the water is one of the most relaxing places I have ever experienced; and the central AC made everything better, every day we were there. Greg, the property manager, was extremely responsive when I accidentally locked myself out one morning, getting back to me within 15 minutes and solving the problem shortly thereafter. We loved the beach out in front, the swimming area with raft and diving board, and the lovely surrounding neighborhood. We look forward to coming back for a longer visit next summer. Summary: This was our second stay at Hyatt house. Our grown children and their families, a total of nine, fit in to the house with no problem. We have felt very much at home in the house from the beginning. The beach is wonderful for everyone, front screened in porch is the best place to sit anytime of day( my husband actually slept out there a couple nights and loved it), outdoor shower the best, I don't think anyone took a shower inside, the beds are comfortable and room for all at the dining room table. The kitchen may be small but we manage just fine and has everything you'll need. Only thing we missed was some seating in the back yard for barbecues on the grill. Also be prepared for a long walk from the driveway to the house when unloading or loading your car. A wagon of some sort would be helpful if you can fit one in. Don't forget to check out The Stand across from Lenny's. Good barbecue and an easy walk in the morning to have a cup of coffee and some yummy sweet bread or a great breakfast sandwich from the food truck. Not to mention the fresh veggies. We look forward to making this our annual family vacation spot. Thx Martin!

Summary: The house is charming and beautifully maintained. A gardener comes every other day to tend the landscaping. We especially enjoyed the airy kitchen, screened in front porch with direct beach view, the outdoor shower, and the attic bedroom. The second-level bedrooms are modestly sized. The house is in front of a small road, which you can cross to a lovely sand and pebble beach with a diving board and swimming dock, where we spent a lot of time. Martin and his property manager keep the house bright and clean, and you'll feel cared for the moment you step in the house. We stayed with three generations and a dog, and everyone enjoyed. Note for elders: the staircase has steep steps.

Summary: Our family had a wonderful wonderful vacation at the Hyatt House. Perfect for a relaxing week and ideally located with family members from Boston, Manhattan and outside philly. Golf, water sports, and a great beach for summer reading. Fully equipped kitchen and a screened front porch to enjoy the view while nibbling. Highly recommend for all ages.

Summary: This was our fourth time in the area and while we always rented lovely homes and enjoyed our time, the Hyatt House was by far the best. The porch, the dining room area, the kitchen, eveything needed and more was there, even some spare sunglasses in a basket in the kitchen! The area is quiet, very close to New Haven, good food and wine not far. Oh and the beach area with diving board is unique and lots of fun. Great for kids. We highly recommend.
