Tranquility on Long Pond is a year round log home rental for families, outdoor enthusiasts, in the heart of the Belgrade. Featuring 4 bedrooms and loft with full size sleeper sofa, 2 bathrooms, spacious living & dining area, galley kitchen, and a screen porch with picnic table overlooking Long Pond. There is a water filtration system for the kitchen sink and full house generator in the event of a power outage. Outside there is 200' of waterfront to enjoy along with a dock big enough for 2 boats. Great place for the kids! Swim or fish right from the dock. Explore Long Pond on the 4 kayaks and rowboat w/ electric motor provided. Newly installed Kayak Dock makes easy to climb in and out of kayaks.
In the winter ice fish right outside the door, cross country ski or snowmobile across many local trails. Garage NOT available in winter months.

Summary: I needed a pet friendly near my daughter's wedding venue. This log cabin was so perfect. First VBRO was easy second the house itself was amazing the view unreal. This was my first time in Rome and at a lake log cabin vacation. What we all know is we will be going back!

Summary: My husband and I spent five weeks at this cottage this summer. The cottage was exactly as described with plenty of beds, two bathrooms and lots of dishes and cookware. The cottage is close to Belgrade Village and only a short drive to shopping and dining. The dock is large and it is easy to tie up your boat. Since the cottage is located in a cove, the lake is usually calm. Although the weather was not the best, we still enjoyed our stay.

Summary: My family enjoyed the cabin and lake immensely. Cabin was very clean and spacious. Our host was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Everything we needed was there. The fact that towels, beach towels and life jackets were provided was a huge plus! Use of rowboat was also great! I would highly recommend this rental to families.

Summary: Very good location. Nice private lot. The cabin was very well stocked. We stayed over the 4th and the fireworks were shot from the middle of the pond, they were spectacular and lasted close to an hour.

Summary: I loved my stay so much I asked to rebook before leaving! The cabin is in a fantastic location close to towns that have everything you could need- Augusta and Belgrade. Check in was easy with directions sent ahead of time that were clear and easy to follow. Home was clean and communication with homeowner was quick. Directions he gives to find the home is accurate and makes it easy to find your perfect vacation spot! There was also a caretaker close by that was very respectful when he came over twice for toilet paper and a plumber visit. Any issue you bring to Joseph’s attention he was sure to promptly address, or let you know it’s being addressed. This home is well cared for and has tons of supplies that you could possibly need - plenty of fans, cooking pots and pans, crock pots, towels, blankets and a closet with spare items to replace when needed like soap and toilet paper so you don’t have to run out to the store. Fishing is fantastic and it’s a lovely little cove so you don’t get big boats coming down to bother you so swimming is safe. One of my favorite things was watching the two baby loons with mom and dad! Thank you Joseph for a wonderful stay at your beautiful property!!
