A designers dream - this cottage has been beautifully appointed and updated with new wood floors throughout, stainless appliances and three floors of living space. Gorgeous views and private beach add to the aesthetics of this lovely home.
Main floor offers a master bedroom with private bath and king bed, kitchen is fully equipped and opens to living room and walk out deck with lake views. Open stairway leads to upper level which includes a guest room with a queen bed, twin daybed with trundle and a separate bedroom with two queen beds.
This floor also offers an additional full bath. Lower level has twin bunk room, family room with flat screen TV, game area and additional full bath. Lovely details throughout create a relaxed beach theme while providing the latest in amenities. The views and private lake access however are the real showcase with additional green space for lawn games and room to play!

THE LOCATION
This cottage is also located just a short walk from Kouw Park (http://visitgrandhaven.com/listing/kouw-park) which is accessible by paved bike trails. Holland State Park and Tunnel Park are also just a short distance along Lakeshore Drive. Situated between Holland and Grand Haven, this location is an easy drive to both beautiful downtown areas where you can enjoy a wide variety of dining, shopping, breweries and entertainment. Take advantage and enjoy lake living at it's finest!

Summary: We had such a wonderful and relaxed vacation at this little rental. The view of the lake is wonderful and sunsets on the beach we’re fantastic. The cabin has history but has been updated with comfortable furniture had everything we needed for eating, sleeping and enjoying our time together. Thank you for this little gem.

Summary: The cottage was fresh and clean, no musty odors. The beds were comfortable and not saggy. Kitchen was spacious and had a decent selection of utensils. Three bathrooms was very helpful - no waiting. The big draw is the view, great decks and lawn and beach access. Yes, beach was narrow, but completely enough. It’s approx 60 stair steps to the beach. Location let’s you enjoy both Holland and Grand Haven. For bike riders, the trail at the end of the drive is one of the best in West Michigan. It’s not a cheap rental, but it was worth it. It’s not like staying at a high end resort with marble tops, but it’s a great family getaway place.

Summary: Very nice place Some window shades are broken, will not raise Bedroom shades should be room darkening Window in west bedroom 2nd floor needs service, the crank link is disconnected Overall very nice We will probably rent here again The flexibility to stay over a long weekend helps with my children’s lack a vacation days from work i.e. Thursday to Tuesday They came Friday night after work.

Summary: The property & house were incredible. The view of Lake Michigan was breathtaking. The yard was spacious enough to do fun outdoor yard activities. The house had everything that we needed and more. Overall, highly recommend staying at this location.

Summary: The house is well cared for and clean. Beautiful view of the lake! The kitchen has about anything you could possibly need and want, although a large teflon pan would be a great addition. Great neighbor, who was very helpful on suggesting places to go. Only issue I had is there was only one key to the house.

Summary: Great home with beautiful views. Stayed in July 2019. Guests should be aware that due to high Lake Michigan levels the beach at this property is gone. You can still access the water with the stairs but there is no where to put up chairs on the shore. The posted pictures do not reflect current status of the beach. This is a problem all along the lakeshore. For the price, guests should be aware.

Summary: Beautiful setting - perfect for our getaway of 7. Cottage update is very cute - only minor issue is the musty smell permeating from basement area - glad we didn’t really use that area and kept door shut. Maybe a constant de-humidifier would help???! Other than that - loved the stay!

Summary: We had a multi-generational group consisting of ages 14 to 76 and had a fantastic time. The house has a great view of the lake, front and back yards, and multiple decks (attached to house, at the top of the stairs to the water, and midway down the stairs to the lake). The private beach is great. For our group, the stairs down to the beach were a little tough for the older folks, but they just needed more time. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The house was very clean when we arrived. The house has plenty of space and never felt crowded. A big gas grill is available for easy outdoor cooking. The property has a long driveway so there is ample parking. The only challenge is indoor seating for meals. We were able to accommodate our whole group using the indoor table, bar stools, and the outdoor picnic table. Overall, it really worked for us and would definitely go back.
