Positive: This was a great oasis (and our splurge night) in the midst of a part of the Camino with few options for accommodations or services. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and even able to accomodate an early check-in. The space was clean and beautiful. A/c is an added bonus, and the pool looked very clean and inviting, though it was a bit too cold and rainy for us to use it during our stay. Restaurant service is available onsite, and it had some good dishes. The bar is by the pool and would be a bit more affordable than the restaurant. Otherwise, bring your own food to prepare in the kitchen. A drying rack is provided.
Negative: A clothes washer would be a great addition. We found the the restaurant staff to be more friendly and attentive to other guests than to our table.
Summary: Good splurge oasis on the Camino

Positive: This was a superb stay in the lovely 2 bedroomed modern cabins. Easy check in and a guided tour of the cabin from staff. The cabins are very well equipped with large bedrooms and a nice lounge area looking towards the lake. Each cabin has a covered outdoor table and an enclosed area for some personal space. The poolside bar serves small food menu until 8pm and a another restaurant is open around weekends. Pool has a lifeguard and the area is very clean. A very comfortable stay with air con in each room.
Negative: The breakfast basket would benefit from a little cheese and ham.

Positive: I struggled a little bit to find the entrance of the place but found it. The place is amazing, as described in the photos if not better. The quality of the blankets for premium. The bathrooms were very clean and modern. I spent one night along my Camino de Santiago, I would love to go back some day and spend a couple of days. I loved having breakfast outside, facing the water, a beautiful of our 7 hour walk that day. It was great not having to do an in-person check in and not waiting for anyone to give us keys, everything is done electronically and keys are kept in a little box with a code
Negative: Some of the food we ordered for dinner (because that day the restaurant was closed) did not meet the expectations of what we paid for it. I suggest you allow check at the time of booking, because the check in process involves several steps and for some of us doing El Camino de Santiago it's not always easy to have internet and try to do this on the phone screen. There were some teenagers playing music near the water in front of us, but they were not there until late.
Summary: An excelent place to stay for my Camino

Positive: It was the only place to stay in that area whilst doing a slow Camino.
Negative: We were notified last minute that the restaurant next to the cabins would be closed that Sunday evening. We had to buy food to do self catering as the food order worked out to be too expensive for our pilgrims.
Summary: Nice relaxing area next to the reservoir with walks around it

Positive: The Cabins by the lake were fairly new and very comfortably decorated. In addition to 2 bedrooms, an ensuite and main bathroom, lounge and dining area, it had a fully equipped kitchenette with kettle and pod coffee maker. Also a large table and benches on the patio for outdoor seating. We couldn't fault the accommodation. There are currently 4cabins and a cafe/reception with very limited opening hours.
Negative: I didnt like the noise of the building works going on immediately adjacent to the cabins. Presumably this is a resort still in progress. The swimming pool by the lake was closed. The automated check in system with a requirement to upload photos of your passport and complete all your details before being issued with a code to get into your cabin, was painful and time consuming after walking the Camino. We ordered drinks from the cafe and this too was by automated payment, except our connection was sketchy and we couldn't use it. We then expected to settle our drinks account when we left in the morning, but the reception and cafe was closed until 10am and we left at 9am. Had to hunt around and eventually found a cleaner that was lovely but unable to help with payment. This automated check in and payment system was time consuming and irritating. Not worth the aggravation for an overnight stay.
Summary: A RESORT STILL IN PROGRESS

Positive: The chef was amazing and brought a three course meal to the cabin which was really delicious. The cabin was very clean and the inside was lovely and the staff were wonderful. These cabins have great potential to be lovely but I think it's just a shame that everyone seemed to walk right past the garden and stare into the windows. Maybe when the cabins have been there for a longer amount of time, people visiting the lake will be more used to their presence there and stop curiously examining the cabins and their occupants.
Negative: It's very expensive for what it is, with meals as an additional cost, so it ended up costing the same price as a whole week of other accommodation on the camino. It's a nice enough location but it's not as private as you might imagine from seeing the location on the map. The cabins have huge windows that look onto a foot path/car park by the lake where there is a very high footfall and everyone who walked past would stop and stare into the windows of the cabin so it ended up feeling quite uncomfortable and we had to close the curtains while we ate dinner. I assume it would be much nicer in quieter seasons.
