Positive: The accomodations is in the heart of the active area of the island. We are a family of 5 and we rented all three rooms and they were very comfortable and cool. The owner is super nice and was always available and has a cafe downstairs with an adorable cat. The location was awesome and we ate at some very good local small restaurants and enjoyed our hikes and biking around the island. If you come and just rent a room a friendly reminder that the bathrooms are shared with other guests.
Negative: The toilet room was a bit tight. But all else was great.
Summary: Great find in central part of the island. Owner super nice too.

Positive: This island was amazing - I loved the hosts map of lemon items across the island! We tried so many of his recommendations for food and drink - all delicious! Perfect stop on the Shimanami kaido, lovely room with seating area! The host was warm and helpful! Great stay!
Negative: The steps to the room are steep but as long as you're fine with that, no issues!

Positive: Fantastic and affordable place to stay along the Shimanami Kaido. It's about 45% of the way from Onomichi and located on the blue line route so is absolutely perfect if you're planning to split the route into two from either direction. The owner was so friendly and helpful. He even introduced us to some of his friends. The whole area is stunning with lots to see and do. Onzo is just around the corner from the three storey pagoda, which is beautiful. The room is comfortable and well stocked. The shared shower is very good with a private changing area.
Negative: Absolutely nothing to dislike about this place.

Negative: Leo was an extremely friendly host. He was flexible, let us check in early, and was very helpful with giving us information about the area. There are only 3 rooms and our family used 2 of them. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the WiFi is good. The bathroom is shared between the 3 rooms but it is very clean with many toiletries available to use and the shower works well.There’s a place outside to store your bikes.
Summary: It’s a comfortable place for people who enjoy staying in a small, homey setting.

Positive: Reo-san was an extremely humble host and always goes the extra mile for his guests. As I was leaving, Reo-san noticed I forgot my charger and biked to the Kosanji shrine (where I told him I was going) to give the charger back to me. I am super grateful for that. You can tell he takes good care of the hostel as the facilities are up to date and very clean. There are also many basic hygiene products that you wouldn't normally find at a hotel or hostel, like floss or mouthwash. The room I was given was a very good deal and the bed was comfy. The room came with two armchairs, a coffee table, a television, a fridge, cups with tea and a bunk bed. For the price, there isn't a better spot to stay in the area.
Negative: The hostel is situated next to a shrine so the bell will ring very early in the morning.
