Positive: Remote and quiet. Nicely located in the heart of the Dales National Park. Very cozy.

Negative: I am tall and it is a small, old cottage. Naturally one has to be careful as ceilings are low. The shower could be improved with a repair. Despite a closed door (as much closed as possible) water leaks to the bathroom floor. This is a bit annoying.

Positive: The location was incredible, just over the hill from a glorious view of Semer Water! It is very rural, but this adds to the experience and it is only a short drive to Hawes. The property is very cosy, with quaint rooms and cleverly used spaces. The cottage was lovely and warm with the central heating on, and the log stove was incredible! We loved sitting by the fire. It is immaculately clean, with everything that you would need in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners also leave a very informative and interesting history of the cottage which was a great read. Would totally recommend.

Negative: Headroom was limited in parts! However, the hosts have clearly marked the low headroom doorway- this added to the charm for us.
