Positive: Everything was amazing! The daily complimentary afternoon tea, the beautiful setting, the outfits to take pictures, the history building, the kids toiletteries and slippers, the kittens, the Hutongs around, the area!
Negative: The rooms didn’t have windows and it wasn’t stated in the description when we booked. We stayed 6 nights so would have been nice to get some fresh air, but overall it was more than ok

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated hotel set in a charming 300-year-old building. The tasteful chinoiserie décor adds a unique character to the space. Service was amazing—staff were cheerful, attentive, and always ready to help. We loved the free-flow refreshments in the room and the lovely afternoon tea. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety to suit every palate. A true gem!

Every day delicious breakfast and afternoon tea and cakes, either Western or Chinese, and live Chinese music played in the hall. Complimentary beauty set, laundry service and airport transfer. So many perks! And the warmth and kindness of all personnel supersedes all the above. More than recommended! Hope to be back in Beijing and if so, will go there again and again and again!
