Positive: Beautiful and comfortable villa and pool with all the facilities you could need. The owners left essentials as well as breakfast items which we appreciated. Perfect place to relax, swim and enjoy the view. Easy to reach lovely beaches and interesting places nearby. Menfi has plenty of great places to eat (we especially enjoyed Maharia with its beautiful roof top restaurant)
Negative: The track to the villa was way better than alot we have experienced at other villas until we had heavy rain and then it was like driving on black ice. We hadn't expected to be cat sitting which was very much enjoyed by 2 of our party but less so by the one who has an allergy to cats. The owner offered to fetch him in a couple of days but as there were another 4 around the villa attracted by the food it didn't seem worth it (another 4 very young kittens arrived on our last night) Having an affectionate cat land on you while you sleep on a sunbed was a shock. Not been able to sit on the outdoor sofa where the cats played and slept wasn't great when that had been one of the attractions for my husband. We would have preferred to have known in advance.

Positive: The house is very well equipped and comfortable. In the kitchens you will find everything you can need - grill, oven, fryer etc. There's an A/C in each of the bedrooms, the mattresses are good. The best part of the house is definitely the pool, which is big enough even for swimming and 90-150 cm deep. We also appreciated the location, which is rather remote (no other houses around) and thus provides a lot of privacy.
Negative: Be prepared that the access road to the property is very bumpy (not paved). Also you are supposed to take any trash from the house to the nearby collection centre.

Positive: The villa was very clean and they gave us a good supply of the necessary items and enough food for our breakfast on the next day which was much appreciated. The staff were very friendly, on time and accommodating and went out of their way to please us. The villa is also located in a good area, in the countryside but a short distance from the beach and restaurants.
