Summary: Belleek Castle was a wonderful place to visit and to stay. Amenities were great and the standard of the breakfast was unmatched anywhere. However the maintenance and upkeep on the property must be a challenge and some of this was apparent to a keen eye. Had we known ahead that we would not be dining in the room with the vaulted ceiling, I probably would not have gone to the trouble of laundering and pressing the Sunday best clothes we wore. Nevertheless, despite the scant dinner cuisine served, we had a splendid time for a ‘one off’ stay. The late checkout time was an additional bonus as was the next morning’s walk through ‘the woods’.

Summary: Amazing restaurant and beautiful castle. A gem of architecture, the bar made like a galleon was superb. The meal was excellent and the staff attentive. If there was one issue the sound travels between the bedrooms clearly as we heard snoring from another room all night. I'd certainly recommend this hotel and will return in future.

Summary: The castle has an interesting history, and the museum of the owners collection of artifacts is truly impressive. The food in the restaurant was excellent, with an extensive wine selection and well crafted cocktails using local ingredients. The staff went above and beyond for us in regards to making sure we had everything we needed, and we even got a private tour of the house. The staff were truly so welcoming and attentive. I cannot recommend this stay enough.
