Summary: A highlight for us was staying at Belleck Castle near Ballina, County Mayo. The stunning grounds/dense tree walks , the authentic rooms with a view; 4 poster beds and yet modern bathrooms. The food! Main restaurant was high class and Jack Fenn Cafe for a huge breakfast couldn't be faulted. Do the amazing castle tour to see the fossil and armoury collections and hear about the Doran family history and how this private castle and its uniqueness came to be. The people who work there were all smiles. A gem of a spot. We stayed 3 days, not long enough. ❤️
