Positive: The property was open with the keys inside. Very big well equipped kitchen. Bath and shower. Comfortable seating in the living room. 3 seater and 2 seater sofa and large chair. Warm rustic house with lots of hot water.

Positive: The property was amazing, full of character with some lovely features. The beds were comfy and we slept well. The best bit was the open fire, so cosy. The garden was great for the dogs. The kitchen was well equipped, and the hosts were so welcoming.

Positive: A characterful annexe with home comforts. Nice comfortable bed too.

Negative: Low beams. Anyone over 5ft 5" will struggle. My husband banged his head on numerous occasions. Maybe some sort of signage would be useful. Also further out than we thought.

Positive: Interesting, old property with many historic features - low ceilings, beams, fireplaces - and a very pretty, slightly overgrown garden, which would be great for children and dogs. The annexe is very well equipped, comfortable and warm and we enjoyed our brief stay.

Negative: Our only reservation, which wouldn't be an issue unless you wanted to walk a lot, was that all the local, signed footpaths were either inaccessible (no bridges) or completely overgrown.

Summary: Interesting, historic, comfortable property with a pretty garden.
