Positive: The view from the hotel, of course if totally amazing! It's right in the mountains. The food is also great - both breakfast and dinner are included in the overnight stay price. Rooms, showers, toilets, etc. are all clean.
Negative: There is only one power socket in the room with maximum capacity of 24 (!) people. Also, in this room beds are organized differently from what I've seen before in other Hütten in the mountains. There are 'blocks', each block is for 4 people - 2 can sleep up, and 2 - down. But beds are so close to each pther, so those 2 people (which are likely complete strangers to each other) with sleep really nose to nose, there is literally no space between the beds. I don't know, how it's supposed to work.

Positive: Amazing location at the top of the mountain - you can take a cable car or hike and the latter is 2.5 hours with kids (take a picnic and it’s fun). Warm welcome from staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Sauna is fun but very small (be warned it’s a nude sauna for those not used to it).
Negative: We had a family room - two single beds and one double. Very characterful but very squeaky wooden floorboards so you wake each other up in the night going to the toilet. The toilet is communal and in the hallway which we didn’t realise before booking.

Positive: The location cannot be beat; mountains on all sides. The dining room is upscale rustic, very charming. Staff very friendly and helpful, food fresh and interesting. The most comfortable comforter on the bed that I've ever had. Loved that our room for 4 had a door for privacy for adults. Shower also great. We hiked Wallberg (bring spikes in winter), and did some sledding (we borrowed their wooden sleds). The whole weekend was cloudy at the lake but not where we were: above the clouds in the sunshine! Staff brought a nice cake for birthday, a surprise.
Negative: Of course there is no private bathroom but never once did I have to wait for the toilet. There was a sink in our own room. The food was worth the price: high end 3 course menu. However I personally prefer traditional "hut food" especially when with family. It doesn't have to pretend to be a fancy restaurant in a city, and I think it attracts a rich and less friendly crowd because of it (which is probably the goal...).
Summary: Fantastic choice for birthday weekend, very comfortable, relaxing.
