Summary: The resort was beautiful and the amenities fabulous! The pool along with the private beach was gorgeous. The spa was also a beautiful experience. We stayed in the rainforest chalet so be prepared for ants on the bed etc. The room was clean and the minibar stocked daily. The only con is the resort is a bit further away from main tourist areas (25-30) mins drive. On the other hand, it is very close to the Skycab!

Summary: We had a rainforest chalet fairly near reception, we rarely stay in resorts so we don't really have anything to compare this too but we absolutely loved it. The room was lovely, they left a little present for our toddler which was a lovely touch. The minibar being stocked each day was fab too. Absolutely loved being in the rainforest, the wildlife was amazing and the free evening nature walk was a real highlight, the guide was so knowledgeable and very accommodating. The pool area was great, beach gorgeous with views to all the hills behind. It's quite remote so if you want to travel around you'd need a car but we got a grab easily up to oriental village when we ate a few times as food in the hotel is expensive. We got 3 meals and 3 drinks at oriental village for the same price as one meal in the hotel. Breakfast is wonderful though, so much choice. We used the beach restaurant for breakfast and were usually the only ones in there first thing. It seemed really quiet overall, not sure if it's usually like this or if we really lucked out!

Summary: Great resort with good facilities and well organised. The room we had was spacious, clean with comfortable bed. Beach bistro had good food, avoid main buffet dining room, it’s chaotic. Lots of wildlife around to see. Only very slight downside is that it is starting to feel a bit tired and dated.

Summary: Staff very friendly accommodation was very nice, mini bar topped every day no complaints. Few gripes not enough sunbeds, and breakfast felt like a cattle market. I just come back from e&o hotel penang it was run to a very high 5 star hotel.

Summary: Easy check in great service to and from rooms . Pool crowded but no towels before 9am. Rooms spacious with good air con . Very clean hotel and staff excellent and professional. Food very good and checkout easy . Paradise in my opinion with fire show in the beach on Friday and Saturday . We did private beach dining £240 per couple but it was great . We were a bit on show but it was fine . Overall a great location and please do the excursions to the mangrove £33 each but we got to see at least 30 sea eagles on a feeding frenzy !
