NEWLY RENOVATED
This house has some of the most amazing views in the Berkshires, looking west over Queechy Lake; incredible sunsets and amazing fall foliage. Located 12 min from Tanglewood and Stockbridge Bowl, 15-40 min from summer theater and dance; 15-20 minutes from skiing, and close to museums and sculpture gardens. 15-25 minutes to Lenox, Stockbridge, Lee, West Stockbridge, Pittsfield, Chatham, Hudson
Expansive wrap around decks on upper and lower levels. Heated endless pool built into a deck. Hiking, canoeing/kayaking and biking nearby.
First floor: Living room with fireplace, kitchen, office, small bedroom, main bedroom suite, breezeway and 2-car garage. Powder room at entrance.
There is a room off the entry foyer that may be used as an office/study or additional sleeping area as it has a pull-out couch. (Desk, printer, bookcase)
Large main bedroom suite (Bedroom 1) with king bed and fireplace that opens to living room; Cable TV and opens to the deck.
Large new bathroom with soaking tub, sauna and shower.
Bedroom 2 has a trundle (2 twin beds)
Lower Floor: Expansive wrap-around porch with amazing views. Living room, 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms
Bedroom LL4 has a queen bed, dresser.
LL5 has a trundle with 2 twin mattresses. These two rooms are off the pool deck and are separated by a newly renovated bathroom with soaking tub and shower.
Bedroom LL6 has a queen bed, dresser, chair, large walk in closet
LL7 has an American Leather sleeper sofa and also has a large TV with a desk. These two bedrooms share a newly renovated bathroom with a shower.

Cross-country skiing, lake swimming, canoeing, kayaking, apple farm with wine and cider tasting within a 5 minute drive

Summary: Our month stay in this lovely home was all we hoped it would be. The location is picturesque with views of a nearby beautiful lake and golden sunrises and pink and orange sunsets visible from multiple floor to ceiling windows or from two levels of decks that surround the rear of the house. The decor suited the design of a mountain top retreat with each room having its own character, both comforting and welcoming. The bedrooms have plenty of storage with dressers and closets. The beds are all large with multiple pillows and comforters. The bathrooms are spacious with lots of towels and shampoo and shower gels. The kitchen has a three stool counter top and a six chair table so there is plenty of room for quick bites or sit down dinners. It is very well equipped with all types of cookware essentials, dishes, glasses, silverware, etc and all condiments found in the cabinets are there to enjoy. There is an abundance of paper goods and plastic bags as well as cleaning soaps and sponges. Everything is provided. There is also a large living room with a big wrap around couch, a den, workout room and office to hang out or find some private space. The hosts, Ilene and Mark, were very responsive to our questions and requests. When some issues arose with the outdoor grill, they responded by having a brand new one delivered and set up at the house. Access to a private lake was such a bonus! A FABULOUS find with the most hospitable hosts. Our family loved every minute. So will yours.

Summary: Ilene and Mark are lovely and were very welcoming and touched based throughout our visit and genuinely cared about our experience. The house and location are wonderful - the sunsets and views were unparalleled. Plenty of space for our family to relax. The only possible suggestions would be the kitchen range was outdated and the sauna and jacuzzi both did not work (which Ilene noted to us before we booked). Neither of those issues changed our impression of a beautiful house . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The house is a cozy mountain retreat. There are many rooms for many bodies to sleep in, lots of nooks and crannies, views for days and the most fabulous sunsets you'll ever see. Ilene is incredibly attentive and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. If you are looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful views, hikes and mountain activities, this is a really lovely choice.

Summary: This home was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for our large group. The setting is wonderfully private and beautiful. We watched a family of deer in the back yard enjoying the surroundings as well. Eileen was very communicative and was available to answer any and all questions. Should we ever want to get away in the Berkshires again we would definitely come back to this beautiful home.

Summary: The property had ample comfortable room for our 9 family members. There were excellent amenities such as dishes, tableware etc. Beauty was experienced on the outdoor deck with views of the lake, hills, clouds--gorgeous scenery. And the location was terrific for getting to restaurants, hiking, kayaking, swimming, zip lining. We all had a great vacation.

Summary: Absolutely fabulous house and beautiful part of the country. The home was -- as promised -- with wonderful service. Clean, lot's of space, large deck overlooking the lake and the valley. Quiet and isolated, but close to cutest towns and community activities, unusual restaurants (fine dining as well as for our kids), and family fun. We loved the property and the experience!

Summary: My husband and I both have physical disabilities that make staying at random homes challenging. Too many stairs, hard beds or uncomfortable chairs and couches can ruin our dreams of a vacation. NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH at this beautiful home. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, comfortable couches to relax on and a gorgeous porch with a view that goes on forever. While everyone else went hiking, we had a gorgeous place to relax, play a game and work on bottle of wine! Charming towns with shorter walks are right around the corner for those of us who can't hike in the gorgeous wilderness. RENT THIS HOUSE!
