Positive: Very comfortable and well appointed! The washer is just a fantastic addition and the two towel warmers work pretty well to dry clothes. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. Nice size fridge. My one request would be a fan because the street noises are pretty loud with the windows open and and a fan would go a long way towards feeling like there’s some air circulation and also helping with drying clothes. Thank you for the great stay! For help with entrance: we didn’t need the second code provided. The first code gives you access to the keys, which you can then hold onto during your stay. I’ll post photos of the entrance to make it more clear which door to enter.

Negative: Apartment was not well stocked, no laundry detergent, not enough toilet paper. Towels did not seem very clean.
Summary: Apartment was beautiful, but not stocked with enough supplies.

Negative: Not proper comms by the owner and check in is at 5, despite only having one unit, unit was without proper signage, so it was a bit confusing to find it

Positive: It’s in a great location across from a quaint shopping area in a walking only zone in old town Spandau. Next door are several good restaurants & a Biergarten & the river. Maybe 10-15 minute walks in different directions are the citadel & the river where you can take an awesome cruise around Berlin. The apartment itself is great, but really a large studio rather than 1 BR as listed. 3 of us stayed here with no issues of privacy. The managers were very accommodating & helpful with any questions/issues I had (such as locking myself out🙄).
Negative: As an American, I’m used to A/C so it was very warm at night on several hot days (a fan would’ve helped a lot I think). A European probably wouldn’t be bothered as much. There’s not much of a view from the windows, but you’re so centrally located that you’ll get great views as soon as you leave the apartment. Traffic could be a little loud at night with the windows open.

Positive: Well-placed apartment, easily reachable from Berlin-Spandau S-Bahn, or the U-Bahn station just opposite. Has everything you need for a short stay. Parking (for a fee) is easily available at the nearby Parkplatz am Brauhaus Spandau.
Negative: We came back once to find that the ceiling lights were on. We're sure we'd turned them off and since no cleaning or other visits were advertised by the hosts, we're not really sure how they came to be on.
