3 Bedroom Place in Woodstock, Motueka

We bought this as bare land 35 yrs ago and set about creating a home for our 3 children. Now we are surrounded by gardens, trees, birds and produce and have created a welcoming place for friends, family and visitors to come and enjoy. The kids have flown and we enjoy having visitors to share our bounty.
Pure spring water supplies us with the best drinking water you could find anywhere. It is so abundant there's enough to run our 65m waterslide, the duck pond and the gold fish pond.
The house has been a labour of love and the self contained accommodation is a relaxing self contained haven surrounded by gardens.
Our road is part of the bike trail along the beautiful Motueka Valley.
We have a 1km track to the top of the hill for spectacular views of the mountains, valley and out to sea.
Special conditions:
Pets allowed with prior approval. Must be kept tied up and outside only. We have native weka birds roaming the gardens and we can't have dogs or cats roaming.
You are welcome to put up a tent for children or we can put sleeping mats on the floor in the living area. There is an extra bathroom off the living area.

Summary: Our hosts were wonderful and the property and all of its facilities a delight. We have stayed in the valley many times but this was the very best yet. Thank you so much for the use of the bikes too - Icing on the cake !

Summary: Really lovely place to stay. Would really recommend this. The garden is vast and beautiful, with a huge water slide, trampoline and swings for the kids. Heather and Dude were very welcoming. It was amazing to be able to let our kids roam safely over such a large area. We would love to come again.

Summary: A beautifully appointed sel-contained retreat far from the stress of city living. We found everything we needed for a lovely three day stay. It's cosy and very comfortable, wonderfully quiet and refreshing. A beautiful drive to Motueka if you need supplies, and not too far from Golden Bay for a marvellous day's excursion. Heather is a most welcoming and informative host. Perfect even on a rainy day; snuggle up with books snd games and enjoy the tranquility.

Summary: We stayed in the apartment - a lovely space with brand new well-appointed kitchen, dining table looking out over the garden, lounge area, and reasonably modern bathroom. All was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. There is space to sit outside, and there is lots for children to do (including the waterslide!). A lovely country escape. The only minor downside is the single bed is in the same room as the double. But adults can use the second bedroom, which has its own external access.
