Positive: It was exactly what I was hoping for! A cozy winter cottage weekend getaway. I was glad there were puzzles there! Great sized kitchen.

Negative: I enjoy cooking, and many of the knives in the kitchen weren't very sharp. Could have used a sharpener, but I couldn't find one. Also, the flooring in the bathroom caused me to trip a bit as a part of it is raised with a raw edge.

Negative: We spent Christmas and New Year's Eve there. It's a great location and the cottage is really lovely. Unfortunately, it's a bit run down. In contrast to the photos, the outbuilding has practically no furniture apart from the beds and a rickety sideboard. The kitchen utensils were as if bought at a flea market, no three identical glasses or plates, everything was thrown together randomly. The water from the sink came back out into the shower. Later, the toilet overflowed, supposedly we had let the flush run, which is why the tank was full. That's nonsense, of course, as soon as the water runs, the pump starts up and you can hear it throughout the house. The photos show the problem, which has obviously been going on for a long time! At the beginning we asked the host for extra blankets, but the only answer we got was that there weren't any, as well as an extension cable to use the patio lighting. The cottage has a lot of potential but is in poor technical condition. Last but not least the roof was leaking. The host wasn't really helpful...

Positive: It was cozy, comfortable and peaceful there.

Negative: It’s a minor thing but the uneven floors need to be navigated carefully to avoid stubbing o to or turning an ankle. We were mindful of it though so there were no mishaps.
