Summary: For us, it was perfect. It was quaint. It was rustic. It was out of the way. It was cool (we are from Arizona where it is routinely 110 degrees F during the summer). We had a chance to hear a lot of live music. Cape Breton is beautiful. Need some window coverings on the second bedroom. Struggled to negotiate the driveway. I would come again.

Summary: We realize covid has created a lot of problems for the tourism industry but please dont let your establishment deteriorate to the point you wont have return renters. The bbq was unusable. the scant two chairs on deck to side of cottage were at best risky to sit on. We felt whole cottage needs an update. Flooring needs replacement. . Sofa in livingroom is huge but extremely uncomfortable. Shower is extremely small and dark.. We come back to CB every year but will not be renting your cottage.

Summary: Bayview Cottage, with all the amenities you need, is in a great location with a view of Port Hood Island and within walking distance (steep hill on the way back) of Port Hood's lovely beaches. The property is comfortable and well kept; thanks to Jon for delivering a new propane tank for the BBQ!

Summary: We love the location, including the access to the Cape Breton scenic sections, the availability of excellent seafood and welcoming people. The house was very comfortable, bed, couch and the kitchen had plenty of cooking equipment. Loved every minute of our stay. Denise and Eef

Summary: This cottage is in a great location and perfect for 2 people possibly 4. Over all it was clean but kitchen looked like it wasn’t cleaned from when previous renters stayed and floors weren’t swept. Bed & pillows were not comfortable and for a 3 day stay we were only give 1 bath towel each.
