3 Bedroom House in Yellow Springs

This space is 3 bdrm 1 bth with a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a partial gym. There is free WiFi and roku. If you bring your passwords you can use roku for your own streaming accounts. There is plenty to do in and around town; a slew of shopping, restaurants, coffee houses and hang outs. There are also miles of bike paths and tons of hiking trails through 2 nature preserves and 1 state park. A few miles out of town is Young's Jersey Dairy where you can pet goats, play mini golf, enjoy batting cages and use of a driving range. They also have 2 restaurants on site and the best homemade ice cream and cheese around. At Christmas time you can cut your own tree.
There are lots of festivals throughout the year; street fair in June and October, art in the park in July , and the wool gathering at young's dairy to mention a few. Wright Patterson air force museum, Kings island amusement park, the beach water park and traders world flea markets are also within driving distance. Rental bikes and transportation are available for an added fee. Two blocks from home is a public park with a pool. If you don't want to leave the "homespace", indoor and outdoor games are available. There are also toys and PlayStation for the kids. The space may also be rented for workshops, retreats, family reunions and holiday parties with or without an overnight stay. This is a unique space like no other I know of in this area. The owner lives on site and is available as needed, but respects the privacy of the guests and takes a hands off approach unless asked to participate.

Summary: We had a great stay. We felt very safe and everything was very organized! All rooms had number locks for security if you desired to use them. We are looking forward to staying here again in the fall 😀.

Summary: There is a homespun, warm and welcoming feel to this yellow Springs home. We felt relaxed and had plenty of room as a couple and when our 3 grandchildren joined us for a sleepover. There were lots of toys, a crib, pack n play etc which came in handy. The weather was cold but we stayed warm and comfortable. Host was very attentive and easy going. Everything worked out for us and we had a fine time!

Summary: We came from Nashville, TN to visit family in Cincinnati, Lebanon, Springfield, and Columbus and this was the perfect location to allow us to spend time with everyone! The property was very clean and well stocked with all the kitchen and bathroom essentials (and nice extras like teas and spices). Karen (the host) was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and all questions answered. As noted, it is a split property so the host is on one side of the house and the rental is a separate, but in the same building. We didn't find this to be an issue personally, but were worried we were making too much noise when the young cousins were visiting and got a little roudy. We will try to book this again for our next trip up as the location and space worked perfectly for our needs.

Summary: The listing for this property is misleading. The pictures and description suggest a house rental, but the rental is more like an apartment (shared entrance with multiple other tenants). Also there is a driveway and garage in the pictures, but renters must street park.

Summary: Host is kind and respectful. You share an entrance to a small foyer but then have the majority of the house to yourself. Separate yard is huge with tables and seating. Actually 4 bedrooms including sunroom, which helped us manage our 1 year old and sleep well at night. Only a mile from town. Only suggestions would be WD40 for doors and a bar/string to hang wet washcloths over tub. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
