Summary: Nice location and good food

Summary: It was a bit confusing as to what you had to do at breakfast as I wasn't greeted by anybody and a jug with a label next to it saying hot water actually contained milk but when I did manage to speak to someone, the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. The property is a bit of a rabbit warren and some clearer signage with regards to where rooms are, where reception is etc. would have gone down well. The property felt a bit dated but everything was generally clean and tidy and I had a pretty good nights sleep so will definitely consider staying again.

Summary: Various small things across both rooms. Noisy heating, broken handwash in one room. Other to did not have any body wash and because it was conjoined room it was very noisy

Summary: Staff were very helpful and accommodating and bar area was nice. However, the room I booked was called the ‘Executive double room’ which came at a premium, and it certainly did not live up to its name, as it was very shabby and in dire need of a refurb. Curtains hanging off the rail, black mould around the tiny shower tray, threadbare towels with holes, paint peeling off the woodwork, etc. Sound proofing was also non-existent, so could hear every tune my neighbour was whistling. I won’t be staying here again!
