Summary: The hotel is in a good area if you are navigating several of the smaller towns around Charlotte, with quick access to the freeway as well. The lobby always smelled divine with hazelnut coffee brewing every day. The check-in process was very smooth and clear. Being a single woman i appreciated the layout of the hotel space & rooms - i felt comfortable and safe. The amenities were great too-the pool, free breakfast- all day coffee and tea, and a fitness room. Even the mirror placement in the rooms was nice/ you could see the back of your hair using the mirrored closet door, which sounds goofy, but it was a nice perk. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my time there and will be back!

Summary: There are two sections to this hotel. One is an older section with entrances from the outside. This is the one where we stayed. Although the room was clean, it certainly could’ve done with some updating. Breakfast was outstanding, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. I would give it the top rating if the room was updated.
