Summary: Don't judge a book by its cover. We were apprehensive upon arrival, due to exterior look of hotel. Inside it is nice & very clean. Amazing looking restaurant & bar attached, but its only open later in week. We stayed a monday-tuesday. Check in was super slow. Only one person at desk, doing his best I guess. But one guest with a dog for chrck in backed up the line to 6 people deep. Rooms are clean, but dated. It suited our needs. Comfortable, clean and near Keene State College. The free breakfast is outstanding. The Cleanliness, variety of food choices and the lovely woman tending to it all was delightful. Didnt use it, but indoor pool area was very large, nice & clean. Also plenty of outdoor grassy space if you want ti sit outside or BBQ yourself. All in all it was a good choice for us. Great value for the money.

Summary: We've stayed here several times before. This was the first time we've been charged for our service dog. On multiple occasions over our 5 night stay, the hallway reeked of marijuana. One night a small party was going on in the parking lot near our room, for the most part they kept it civil and the noise down. For the rest of the time, it was very quiet as we never heard any noise. The breakfast was great with lots of delicious options. Although, they did get rid of the waffle makers and replaced them with a pancake machine. The waffles were much better.

Summary: We frequently visit this hotel to visit my family in town. The breakfast is great, however, we will likely be choosing different accommodations in the future. Our hallway smelled of marijuana most of the time, and there were multiple times that our bathroom also had a very strong scent (it seemed that someone below us was smoking in their bathroom and it traveled up to our room though the vents). I did complain after the second time this happened (we were traveling with an infant), and they were able to clean the room below us very quickly. Also, we were granted a late checkout of noon, but then the front desk called our room around 11:35 and asked multiple times when we were leaving. It was frustrating to feel like we were being pushed out of there after being granted a late checkout. Ultimately I will look for other accommodations in Keene next time we visit.

Summary: We were there to celebrate our daughter's graduation. When we woke up the next morning (Mother's Day), all the graduation decorations were replaced with Mother's Day in the buffet room! Lori handed out Mother's Day cards to all the moms and had chocolates out for the taking. What a lovely gesture. Lori is a gem and we look forward to seeing her on every visit there!

Summary: The front desk staff person named Elsy (I hope that's how it is spelled), was absolutely outstanding. She went above and beyond with her help and service. I was extremely disappointed that there was no standard way to help a guest with luggage. I am handicapped and but for Elsy's assistance would not have been able to get it inside. The totally unusable and confusing remote control - she came to the room and taught me how to use it. When housekeeping failed to tend to my room, she came (at about 6 pm) and did it herself. She was totally wonderful.
