Positive: It was clean and quiet.
Negative: There are very few customers, so I can understand how it got this way... First impression was that the coffee maker in the lobby didn't work. Not a big deal. But then the ice machines (both) don't work. The restaurant was closed. They opened for the free breakfast, but 1 hour before closing there was hardly anything left. 3 chaffing dishes empty but still on. We planned to have dinner at the restaurant in the evening only to find it was closed for a few days. The staff was always friendly and wanted to help although they were hard to find sometimes, it's a skeleton crew. But like I said, it's empty and considering that, the place was pretty clean, the pool looked nice, we didn't get to go swimming or use the hot tub which also looked clean. It's been a while since I've done a lot of travelling, so I can't speak to the value, everything seems expensive these days, so in that light I think it's probably pretty good value, on the last day, someone came by and offered to make me a breakfast sandwich after I had filled up on pastries and the last couple of sausages. There was always this smell of weed on the 2nd floor, not strong, it smelled like driving by one of the marijuana greenhouses that's nearing cultivation time, or maybe someone using a vape or something, not 'Smoking' per-se, but it was always there. Beds were comfortable and nothing gross or weird, you get a coffee maker, fridge, bath and a TV. There's a microwave in the lobby and a computer for you to use and if you don't mind French Vanilla, and have some patience with it, you can get the coffee maker in the lobby to make that, just not any other kind of coffee. All in all, it's a fair place to stay. Certainly not the worst I've been to. Certainly not the most expensive. And again, the staff, when you can find them, were always friendly and helpful.
