Our vacation home in the Lower Keys awaits your arrival! We live here during the winter so our home is available spring - fall. The gated, community of Venture Out has all of the amenities that you could want for a sunny getaway. Lounge by, and swim in the heated pool or salt water canal. Play pool, ping pong, tennis or pickle ball with family and friends. Gather together a group for a game of bocce. Forgot a "good read"? No worries - we have a well-stocked library. There's a playground as well as a kiddie pool for the little ones in the family. Four adult bikes are provided, with miles of bike paths along the Overseas Hwy. It's an easy bike to Mangrove Mamas for bloodies and brunch or to The Square Grouper for a delicious meal & nightly entertainment. Venture Out is located at MM 23 so if the hubbub, nightlife, and shopping of Key West is your pleasure, you will not have far to drive. Our house is maintained, not as a rental, but as our home, since we do live here during the winter. We have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and are situated on a 60' canal. You can park your boat at our 35' seawall for easy access to fishing, boating, and sunset sails. The dock is complete with cleats, bumpers, fish cleaning table and swim ladder. Your boat must fit tip to tip with the motor up within the 35'. You will have access to our store room with a bait freezer and area to keep dive and fishing gear. There are 2 covered decks - one facing the street and one facing the water. There is additional seating under the home facing the canal. On the water front you will have outdoor seating on both the upper and lower decks with a gas grill. Our kitchen is completely stocked with everything you could possibly need for a home cooked meal. There are smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. WIFI and landline from which to call the USA, Mexico and Canada is provided free of charge. The home sleeps 6 (maximum allowed per Venture Out rules) with a king bed, queen bed and queen sleeper sofa. We speak French and English. Please no pets or smoking allowed. There is a 3 night minimum stay except during Lobster Season which requires a 7 night minimum.
Additional fees:
12.5% tax (5% lodging tax and 7.5% county sales tax), $150 cleaning fee, $75 booking fee, and a non-refundable $45 accidental damage fee. The Venture Out fee, paid at the gate upon arrival, is $125.00 and must be paid by debit or credit card. One vehicle is allowed to park at the home (NO exceptions). There are additional fees for parking an extra car, etc, but there is no guarantee of availability. Our agent has a list of off site parking nearby, for your boat trailer and/or 2nd vehicle. All final reservations will be handled by our on-site agent. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
We would like all potential guests to be aware that we are a private and individually owned residential condominium and NOT A RESORT, therefore we ask that all guests treat our community as such. VRBO seems to have verbiage that says we are a resort but this is not accurate.
