Summary: This cabin is the absolute best. It is so clean and beautiful. It is well stocked and in a great location. The outdoor space is great for a fire and the kitchen is great for cooking while on your adventure. I highly recommend this place! We’ve stayed there twice now and intend to make it a yearly thing!

Summary: Great place, clean and “home feeling”. We love going to this cabin. We haven’t even arrived yet and my wife is asking when we’re returning. The kids enjoyed the swing and giant tree out in the back. With the addition of the benches, firepit and barbeque station, there’s more stuff to do. We had one great night for s’mores, dinner by the firepit, and campfire stories. Memories our children would remember for the rest of their lives!!!Haven’t made reservations yet but we’ll be back for sure. AGAIN.High recommended. I hate to recommend. We want the place to ourselves!!!

Summary: This property was very clean and homey. Our children loved the loft area. When we pulled up, there was a cute little family of deer. I would recommend staying here to any one.

Summary: We enjoyed our weekend at the little cabin with the big tree! Definitely off the beaten track, but a perfect quiet weekend. Everything about the cabin was perfect.

Summary: Perfect size and location for a 4 day getaway for me and my wife! Conveniently located to the lake, restaurants, shops and 2 state parks yet secluded enough for some quiet time at the firepit on the beautiful grounds. Very charming and clean, had all the things we needed, just as listed. Will def return!

Summary: My husband and I are planning to do a beachy honeymoon in January when we're sick of the Chicago snow, but figured we should still have a cute mini getaway right after our wedding. This was the absolute perfect spot- I wish we booked it for longer! We decided to take some impromptu pictures of me in my wedding dress in front of the beautiful tree and Kat came over and kindly offered to take some pics for us, too! She mentioned that she is rarely in the area and didn't want to impose but also wanted to offer a helping hand. It was incredibly thoughtful and not imposing at all. The cabin was just the right size. Everything we needed was there and it was very clean and orderly. The Dollar General a couple miles away has fresh produce and grocery items so that was convenient too. Like many others, we will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Summary: We had a great stay! It was super cozy and comfortable. We used the outside pit to grill burgers and even made a fire! We loved seeing the deer and geese. We were welcomed by the neighborhood dog Foxy!! We loved the stay and your awesome hospitality. I will definitely check with you for hunting season to stay a full week. Thanks again
