Positive: Beautiful gardens. Nice views on the mountains and garden is well kept together. Enjoyed our garden view room too and the possibility to make a chimney fire inside.
Negative: The staff doesn’t understand / speak well English or French which made breakfast asks not smooth. There is one router for the property, which is supposed to stay in the breakfast room but it seems the staff moved the router to staff accommodation the first night and then to another guest room the second night and day which meant no internet for the rest of us. This was very frustrating as we had some work to do while there and not able to complete it.
Summary: Beautiful location but the staff needs better training and they need to solve the router issue.

Positive: First of all, the key benefit of the hotel is that it is in the mountain area. The property has very nice territory and amazing views, and all these are combined with hotel amenities and white bed linen. I would say that price / quality balance is almost unique in the area - the rest of the properties in the area are either way more expensive or way worse.
Negative: Overall, only 2 comments: 1) Communication with staff, since only the hotel owner speaks English. 2) Even though the price / quality ratio for the dining offered in the hotel is attractive, it has an opportunity for further enhancement (most likely, it will be improved once the hotel operates at full capacity).

Positive: The place is perfectly located in the middle of the mountains, easy to access and very quiet. The room is beautiful with an amazing view. The bed is very comfortable.
Negative: The food is too scarce and unfortunately we got really sick probably because of the water they use.

Positive: We stayed in three Moroccan resorts with extensive gardens and a pool. All three were lovely but our two-day stay at Bin Jbal was exceptionally nice with its pond and fountains and the mix of decorative plants, herbs and vegetables in its manicured gardens. Our standalone bungalow was spacious and comfortable and our private rooftop gave us views of the resort’s wonderful surroundings. Meals were caringly served in this welcoming setting. The real treat of Ben Jbal was having Ayoub look after us at the resort and beyond. For example, our plan was to hike the scenic Ouirgane Valley in the morning before moving on to Essaouira. He suggested instead of our driver picking up our luggage and meeting us at the end our hike that we instead return and shower before our drive. We learned Ayoub was once a trail guide so he was anticipating our needs as hikers. The resort’s accommodation met our every expectation but having Ayoub as our host is what makes our stay at Ben Jbal a lasting memory.

Positive: It’s a paradise in the midst of the mountains. Beautiful, quiet, very friendly staff, lovely refreshing pool, the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in and the view of the room on the mountains.. Just wauw! Also, we’ve eaten the best (vegetarian) Moroccan food right here! In the beautiful garden.
Negative: If you don’t want to be unpleasantly surprised, ask the dinner price beforehand. It’s the best dinner we’ve had, but it also turned out to be the most expensive dinner we’ve had so far. It’s worth it, but good to know beforehand.
