Summary: A stunning experience, location and stay. The hotel is a little out of the. (No bad thing!) but well worth it. The staff were superb, the room was superb and the dinner fantastic. A wonderful bed, well appointed room with a view to die for.

Summary: It is a hidden gem. We enjoyed our stay at a beautiful room with a mountain view. Drive into the property is tricky but it is nicely situated in the mountain side. Dinner was special and delicious. We loved warm hospitality by the staff.

Summary: A gem of a hotel in the mountains. Some lovely touches, most notably a magnificent three-course dinner in the Viking House. Excellent location, equidistant from places of interest such as Alesund and Geiranger. Highly recommend for a unique experience.
