Newly renovated interior to a turn of the 20th century duplex. Nestled in a charming part of London, bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun.
The Madison County Fairgrounds are a 5 minute drive and Kroger is 1.1 miles and Walmart is 1.7 miles.
3.8 miles from Farm Science Review and the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy is a 6 minute drive.
2 blocks from the Ohio to Erie Bike Trail. 3.8 miles from Farm Science Review. 8 minute walk to downtown London; The State Theater, Ronettis Pizza, McDonalds, Proctor Store, London Coffee Peddler, Fine Designs Coffee and Gifts, Xpress Fitness, Union Street Salon and Public Library.
Kroger is 1.1 miles and Walmart is 1.7 miles.
Newly renovated 1600 square foot apartment with new HVAC, carpet, flooring, updated bathroom with tub and shower, and updated kitchen.
Separate Heating and Cooling for upstairs and downstairs for those that like different temps on different floors. A king size bed, one queen size bed and one full size bed in three private rooms easily allows 6 people to sleep comfortably. A 58" TV is provided in the living room and a 55" TV in the Master Bedroom await for those who just want to chill and watch a good movie. Smoke detectors and CO dectors are located throughout. A bluetooth soundbar in the old china cabinet is provided for those that want to listen to their favorite music.
You will have access to the entire unit, along with a private washer and dryer on premesis. Ironing board and iron are available in the bathroom, along with a hairdryer for those that may forget. Fire extenguishers are located under the sink in the kitchen and in the end pantry. Crib is located in the Master Bedroom closet along with stairway gate.

Downtown London is in walking distance to shops and businesses. Grocery shopping would be best if driving, although there is a convenience store within a 6 minute walk. There is also a Fraternal Order of Eagles 3 blocks away, and an American Legion.

Summary: The Black Door in London is a perfect place for anyone doing a through-bike of the OET. Easily accessed from the trail this property immediately felt like home. The area felt safe and there is a variety of restaurants within walking distance. This duplex is elegant and spacious. We GREATLY appreciated having our own washer and dryer in the unit.very clean and decently stocked. We would absolutely stay here again!
