9 Bedroom House in West Oneonta

Black Moose - Ideal choice for families who want to stay together! This unique 9 bedroom / 6 bath home that will accommodate 24 people. It's a great location for families attending the All Star Village youth baseball tournaments - only a 10 minute ride. It enjoys a well landscaped setting carved from a lightly wooded area. A large patio in the back faces a very large back yard, while a deck on the side leads out to the 21 foot pool with a depth of 4 feet. Parents can sit on the deck and watch children play in the back yard or swim in the pool. There is also a hard surface basketball court.
Black Moose is a combination of a completely renovated home and new construction. It has been designed with families in mind. Seven of the bedrooms have one queen bed and two of the bedrooms have 2 sets of bunk beds each (with a single on top and double on bottom). There is a living room on the top level and a game room on the lower level. A double sided fireplace is between the living room and the dining room. There is a full kitchen on each level.
Every bedroom has a 32" flat screen TV and there are two different 42" flat screen TVs in the common areas. Black Moose sits in a private setting of 15 acres - plenty of room for a team party. Ample outdoor seating and dining.

Summary: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Black Moose Lodge! We were playing at Dreams and it was about a half hour away but this really didn’t phase our group. We were a group made up of 5 families and this house was perfect as each family essentially had a bedroom and a bathroom for their own use. It made the stay so much easier! The grounds were perfect and the kids were able to enjoy the pool and basketball court. I would highly recommend staying here for a larger group that needs space and the ability the spread out. The owner was very responsive as well. We all highly recommend!!

Summary: This house had everything. We had 6 families stay and enough space for everyone. 4 bedrooms upstairs and 5 bedrooms downstairs. Each level has a washer and dryer and full kitchen set-up. Yard was amazing, relaxing, spacious for wiffle ball, has a basketball court and pool. About a 10 min drive to the fields and was perfect if playing at All-Star Park.

Summary: Black Moose Lodge is the best location and spot for large groups. They even allow for a team party. We had the best time and I will recommend this house to all future teams going to All Star Village. It was only about 10 minutes to the field. We had 6 families and never felt like we were tight on space, layout was perfect.

Summary: This place is 8 minutes from the park and a perfect place for a bunch of families to stay at. We loved every second of our stay at black moose lodge. Great for adults. And great for the kids. Thanks Chad for everything!! You were a great host and we will be back when my 9 year old is 12.

Summary: This property had tons of room for everyone. No one felt cramped in any of the rooms/ bathrooms. Host was very responsive to questions/concerns we had while we were staying. Check in and check out process were extremally simple. There are two sets of washer/dryer, but you'll need to bring your own detergent. Property is on well water, but there was no smell to it, and it was safe to use for drinking and cooking. Coffee maker is suitable for grounds as opposed to k-cups. Location is about 10 min from ASV which was a major plus for us to have in between games.
