The total ambiance of this lakefront retreat is calm and relaxing. Beautiful, island dotted eastern and southern views of Black Sturgeon Lake from the decks. The cottage is located 15 minutes north of downtown Kenora.
This premium residence has approximately 3200 square feet of living space over two levels and is on a private 2 acre lot with over 200 feet of deep water shoreline. The cottage boasts five bedrooms that will sleep 12 comfortable and three full bathrooms.

Summary: George and Rita's Black Sturgeon Lakes Executive Cottage exceeded all expectations. We had a wonderful stay. We spent most of our time down at the water with our 4 kids (ages 3-10) and there was no shortage of activities to keep them busy. Whether it was swimming, jumping off the dock, fishing, kayaking...this place has it all. The cottage had more than enough space for everyone and the beds were extremely comfortable. George and Rita were great to deal with and the property manager was quick to come over when we did have a question or concern. We would definitely welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

Summary: Excellent location. View of lake is amazing. Cottage is spacious and modern. Large deck overlooking the lake. Plenty of seating on the deck and on the dock. Kitchen is well supplied with pots, cooking equipment, plates, cutlery, etc. Good linens, good beds, all the comforts of home. Managers responded to all inquiries before and during our stay quickly and satisfactorily. Overall this is a wonderful place for a family vacation.

Summary: This property was truly special. The views were unbeatable. The days were spent soaking up the scenery from the deck or dock. For a closer look we would head out in the kayaks and really take in the beauty of this lake. Because we were travelling with two other couples, the interior space and privacy was great, especially having three bathrooms. Loved the dartboard and pool table for evening entertainment. Also the fact that this property was properly cleaned prior to our arrival was fantastic.

Summary: Although the weather wasn't in our favor, we still had a great time on Black Sturgeon Lake. The cabin was great and very well maintained with all the necessities you would need, and then some. The location was beautiful and there was more than enough space for everybody. Rita and George were very nice and accommodating and the property manager was friendly and helpful. We would definitely like the opportunity to rent again.

Summary: Our family had a great time at this cottage. It is spacious, clean and beautifully maintained. It has all the necessary amenities and much much more! We loved the water front and spending time fishing and boating on the lake. The close vicinity to Kenora was very convenient. Rita and George were great to deal with and the property managers were very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back here again!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake cottage. We felt completely at home and there was plenty of a pace for our family of six. The instructions for everything were highly detailed and there was no need that wasn't met. We highly recommend this cottage and look forward to renting it again.
