Summary: We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Black Walnut Inn. The Inn is just lovely. Everything was so clean and we had everything we needed when we got there. The property is beautiful and the room was so cozy. The best part about it was the breakfast. Homemade bread, fresh baked sweet treats, and fresh eggs from the hens on the property. Next time we are visiting our niece in Amherst we will for sure be staying there.

Summary: Quaint inn near our son's college that had a nostalgic feel, was very clean, and had easy parking on-site.

Summary: The room itself was very nice. But, the room had an emergency exit door that was located right next to the bed area and the street noise from that door was awful. It sounded like we were on the street. Breakfast was delicious and staff were great. Would be a 5 if not for the street noise.

Summary: We came to the Black Walnut Inn for our Wedding Night and we are so happy and absolutely over the moon that we did! Everything was truly perfect and charming and we hope to come back for years to come! The BlackWalnut Inn was the perfect place to usher us off into married life!

Summary: This is a B&B place and we were in the house portion. We knew it was twin beds coming in but the mattresses were a bit bouncy. GREAT property!!!

Summary: Lovely historic inn! Very well appointed and spacious room, comfortable common area, attentive hosts, great breakfast (including eggs from the inn's beautiful chickens, and homemade bread), mattress was quite firm (whether it is too firm is just a matter of taste). One suggestion: have pullout sofas in the larger rooms and suites that include sofas -- our son was a little too tall for the non-pullout sofa. He still found a way to sleep on it comfortably, but others may not. Other than that, an excellent stay!
