We are a modern, not rustic, well lit inside and outside house only 2 miles from town on the only paved county road. 2 grocery stores, 2 dollar stores, many restaurants in easy reach.

Summary: We had everything we needed. There were ground coffee and pods for both the Keurig and Mr Coffee pot. There was kleenex in almost every room. We enjoyed the deer in the evening. We would definitely return. Tseidel

Summary: Our stay was a full two weeks. We love the location, and the view of the Black Hills looking towards Custer from the house, are stunning. Custer downtown and entry into Custer State Park are just a few miles away. You will quickly feel like you are out in the country. The owners are very gracious and always responsive. There is a big outside deck that allows sunshine during the day and a great view of the hills. The opposite side has a nice small deck if you wish to relax alone. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit , it is perfect for an evening campfire. The house has plenty of space and is well stocked. We will certainly be returning.

Summary: This home was perfect for our 9 day stay with 3 couples. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the home. The Kitchen had all we needed to cook meals, which is a big plus to me. Everything was nice and clean, the view is amazing and the location is close to many attractions. Our hosts were very accommodating to our needs and made sure we had every thing we needed. I would stay here again for sure.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room for our family of 5. The home was in close proximity to Custer State Park and has a beautiful view of the Black Hills. The hosts are very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here!

Summary: The house was very clean and comfortable. It is spacious for a family of 4. The house is in a very quiet location, but close to grocery stores and restaurants and only a half an hour away from many of the tourist sites. We spent a week and it gave us plenty of time to do a variety of things and still have some downtime to read, relax and play games.

Summary: This property has an absolutely beautiful view from the porch. I enjoyed sitting out in the morning drinking coffee. Deer would come in the yard and actually come pretty close up. House was cleaned and had everything we needed. Temps were into the 90’s the last two days and some of the house got warm, but not bad. We would definitely stay again if we ever get back up.

Summary: The home was extremely comfortable and clean. We met both our hosts and they were welcoming and informative ab the area. We loved that we could open the windows at night and be more than comfortable. Reminded us of our childhood. We hope to return in the future.
