Summary: My wife and I enjoyed and nice stay in this beautiful, super clean and peaceful accommodation. Breakfast was superb and the host hosts we super nice. We will be back next time we are in Northern Ireland.

Summary: Lovely small hotel, in a beautiful rural setting. The new owners were so welcoming and friendly. Cleanliness and standards within the rooms were exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Summary: What a wonderful stop on our trip! The property was beautiful and Edele and Alessio were so attentive to our needs. We had a seven course tasting menu and breakfast prepared by Sonia Russell and Louise Hynes. The food at both meals was so delicious and there was so much attention to detail. One dish, the pea and mint soup, brought tears to my wife’s eyes. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and we were very comfortable. We cannot say enough about The Blackwell House. We will definitely return!

Summary: You ever went somewhere and felt like, this is home? That’s what this stay was. If you want the most luxurious, cozy, taken care of, delicious space. Book this place. I wish I would have stayed here the entire time I was in Ireland. I didn’t want to leave the home at all. The food is absolutely exquisite, music is perfect and the owners are just the most wonderful hosts I’ve ever met. I’ve made small changes in my own home since I’ve returned to live more like I did when I stayed there. Thank you all and see you in September!

Summary: I don’t normally leave reviews, but it feels wrong not to ensure that people realise how wonderful this place is. The attention to detail from the minute we arrived was second to none. Everything was faultless, the service, the food, the ambience, the friendly pets. Being vegan I’m used to mediocre meals from many places but Blackwell House don’t do mediocre - the menu was incredible, the food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Breakfast was probably the best we’ve had ever, and was an experience in itself. We stayed in the Charleston room, and everything about it was luxury. We will absolutely be back again. Joyce, Steve & team have created something stunning and their passion and love for what they do is evident at all times. Thank you so much!
