Small cozy cabin on the Caney Creek. Great for duck hunters and fishermen. Fish the green LED lighted private pier, or take the short 8 minute boat ride to Mitchell's cut. Bring your own fire wood for the fire pit, or use our seasoned oak wood "additional cost". There is a screened-in porch for you to enjoy your stay without those pesky mosquitoes. BBQ pit onsite. There are two crab traps for your convenience, just bring some chicken and rinse them off before you leave.
Outdoor Pets are welcome in the fenced in back yard, but please keep them out of the main cabin. A kennel in the screened-in porch is permitted.
The cabin is a 1 room cabin with 2 full beds and 1 day bed with trundle bed. 1 Bathroom. Comfortably sleeps 4 can sleep up too 6.

Summary: Property was exactly as described, perfect spot for a father/son fishing getaway. Great location, great lighted pier and easy access for kayaks or canoes to fish Caney Creek. Summary: We enjoyed our stay, especially my husband. He caught 2 flaunders and decent sized croakers.The kids loved the beach. I loved the crabbing part. We felt like the neighborhood is safe. It is quite. Our neighbors(the couple) are very friendly. They make sure that everything during our stay is ok. They actually offered their pool for our kids. The owner of the property is easy to deal with when we asked for 1 day extension.
