3 Bedroom Villa in Fraser Island

Welcome to Banksia Villa 534 at Kingfisher Bay resort, Fraser Island the perfect setting for gatherings with family and friends. Banksia 534 has been completely renovated to provide fresh, luxurious, family friendly accomodation.
Banksia villa 534 is a fully self contained unit over 3 floors offering beautiful views over the ocean from its position on the hill. The property has 3 bedrooms, the loft bedroom is accessed via a sweeping staircase, there are 2 king single beds and a trundle allowing for a queen bed and single or three single beds. The master bedroom has a queen bed, ample storage,tv,air conditioning, an ensuite and access to the lower deck offering magnificent views across the sandy straits. The second bedroom has a queen and single bed,tv and access to the lower deck.
As you enter the villa there is a laundry room with washer and dryer, separate toilet and the main bathroom with a spa bath, rain shower and vanity unit.
There is a small flight of stairs up leading to the open plan kitchen/living/dining area, where there Is a large corner sofa, television, bench seating around the dining table and a large island bench. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, 4 burner cooktop and a large pantry. Sliding doors from the living/dining area lead onto the main deck with outdoor setting and family size Weber Barbecue, a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy the sunset over the ocean with family and friends.
The third loft bedroom is accessed from the living area by the staircase. The bedroom has louvres that can be opened or closed for privacy.
Returning back to the main entrance, a flight of 6 stairs down leads to the two main bedrooms.
The villa is situated slightly up the hill and is an easy walk to the resorts 3 swimming pools, spa, tennis courts, restaurants, bars and the village store which stocks clothes, beer and wine, gifts and groceries.
There are plenty of activities on the island including 4 wheel driving. If you are not bringing a vehicle activities at the resort include ranger tours, children's programs, Segway tours and tennis. Fishing gear, canoes and paddle boards can be hired at the jetty hut. There are many beautiful walks on the island and a stroll along the beach to Mackenzies jetty to watch the sunset is the perfect way to finish your day.

Summary: This house felt like home! I was repeatedly impressed with how much thought and effort the owners had put it to making sure we had everything we needed and more. Most places have the same standard offerings but this home had electric frying pan, sandwich press, beaters, heaps of plates, platters, plastic options for kids, board games and movies. The owners were so great to deal with. The beds and pillows were super comfy and the place is freshly renovated. I will definitely be back!

Summary: Our first visit to Fraser and will definitely be back to stay in this well appointed and equipped villa. Lucy was great to deal with, incredibly responsive, informative and very welcoming. The best hosts we have come across. The house is well appointed to the resort and beach both in walking distance. The house has everything you could need, the kitchen has a range of appliances, great decks and plenty of games/DVD's for the kids. Thanks for a wonderful week, we will be back.
