Summary: Our family had the great fortune of staying in this spectacular home in Orient Point on the North Fork. We especially liked the convenience of the private community beach access. This was awesome due to the restrictions at other beaches due to the coronavirus. The house itself was immaculate and our hosts were very accommodating during our stay. Their property manager, Emily, made sure we knew where all the great restaurants and wineries were. We highly recommend this fantastic property and certainly will return in the future.

Summary: This is a truly lovely home. Beautifully decorated, in neutral tones, every room offers a peaceful place to relax and just enjoy the quiet nature which surrounds the property. It also was sparkling clean. The location is wonderful-- just minutes from Orient State Beach Park, and many little beaches and inlets. We, unfortunately, experienced a serious storm while we were on vacation and due to a power outage had to cut our time short. Paula and Jason and the house manager were all extremely helpful and generous with their time and attention and took great care of every detail that was within their control but alas, the timing was off. It's a wonderful house and neighborhood and our two young daughter's loved all the toys that were available to them to play with, the little rabbits nibbling greens in the yard, and the neighborhood beach on the sound. We visited it every day and wish we could have had more time there. We'll definitely be looking to visit again and can't say enough about the charms of the house!

Summary: We had a terrific time staying here in Orient. The house was perfect and exactly as described. I grew up coming out here and this house exceeded my expectations. The owners were very easy to work with and the property manager was around to help us with anything we needed. They even had a ton of stuff around for the kids which made traveling so much easier. There are a ton of great beaches to explore and it was nice to be close to the greenport town but have the quiet of Orient. We would totally stay here again.

Summary: The house is tucked back from the road amid brush and trees, felt even more private and peaceful than expected from the lovely photos in the listing. It was spotless, comfortable, and utterly quiet. The community beach was perfect for a sunset viewing each night, and the state park beach a couple of minutes' drive away likewise perfect for our family. We couldn't have been more comfortable, and especially appreciated all of the thoughtful touches for young kids--a kid-sized table and pair of chairs, a stool in the bathroom closet, railings to attach to the beds, etc. Hope to return!

Summary: Our family of four (parents, two teenaged daughters) just spend a delightful week at the Summer Oasis. The house is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, fully equipped and located in a quiet block. The owners and Jean, the manager, were extraordinarily pleasant and helpful to deal with. We enjoyed biking, kayaking, visits to vineyards and roadside farm stands, a rainy day trip to the Tanger Outlet Mall in Riverhead, and relaxing in the house. The property description was extremely accurate, the house was clean and well maintained. We hope to return, because the location will be as delightful in the fall as it was in the summer. In short, we highly recommend this destination.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Summer Oasis and would recommend it to other families. We spent our days at the private LI Sound beach and the bay beach in the nearby state park. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for barbecues and al fresco dining in the very private yard. We would love to return.

Summary: We stayed at the house for a week in August with our 4 children - 3 of whom are teens. It was one of our nicest vacations in years. The house is just absolutely lovely - elegant and tasteful, but extremely comfortable. Most importantly, it was immaculately clean - no weird beach-house ickiness - just clean and spare and white. It even smelled good. Our kids had friends visit on and off during the week, and there was sufficient extra room for them on the downstairs couch, and it did not feel cramped, even with 8 people staying. One thing to keep in mind is that there is plenty to do within walking distance in the way of outdoor activities - but the only store within walking distance is a couple of miles away, in Orient Village, and the town of Greenport is definitely a drive (my kids biked it one day, but we drove them back!) But the beautiful Orient State Park is a stone's throw from the house, and the little private beach for the community is very close as well. So just bear in mind if you stay that you will want to stock the house, or else plan on driving into Greenport for provisions. All in all, a delightful house that we hope to return to one day soon!

Summary: This property is private, well-maintained, clean and very comfortable. The house had all the necessary amenities for a beach house, including access to a private neighborhood beach and a kitchen large enough to move your clam bake indoors should it rain. We particularly enjoyed coffee under the vine-covered pergola in the mornings. The property manager ensured the house was ready when we arrived and helped arrange beach permits in advance. The sunsets over Long Island Sound were breathtaking. The property is a short drive past farms to Greenport, which offers good restaurants, a vintage carousel and possibly the best coffee bar on the planet. We also caught the ferry to Shelter Island for lunch. In short, we had a wonderful stay.

Summary: I can't say enough good things about this property and its owners. House is sunny, light, bright and tastefully decorated without being intimidating if you have kids. The nearby beach is gorgeous, and we only had to share it with a few people. The owners are lovely. A wonderful place!
