Just minutes from the Space Center, Redstone Arsenal, and downtown, it’s an ideal spot! Pets are welcome for a fee. The Space:
This beautiful old home has been completely updated. Hardwood floors throughout have been refinished and kitchen remodeled. Large fenced backyard is perfect for a family picnic or BBQ, and history buffs will love exploring the home and neighborhood!
Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and there is a grill with the property.
This is an older historic house, with all the charm of an older home. Please note that there are no bathrooms upstairs, and several guests have mentioned that the stairs are a bit steep. We try to be as up front as possible about the quirks of the home, so please feel free to reach out to us with any questions regarding the home.

The Neighborhood:
The Old Town historic neighborhood is filled with beautifully maintained historic houses. The neighbors are super friendly, so don't be surprised if they wave and say hello as you are coming and going!
The neighborhood was an old mill town. The company built all of the homes virtually alike, so you will see the same design of house throughout the neighborhood. Don't be surprised if you find some marbles or coal from where the neighborhood kids used to play!
The neighborhood is next to a very large soccer complex that often hosts tournaments, so if you are in town for a tournament, chances are this is the place to be!
Getting Around:
Definitely enjoy a stroll along manicured sidewalks to enjoy the local amenities!
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
This is an older historic home. The staircase is a little steeper than modern homes. The yard is also not entirely fenced in.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.

Summary: I was disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of this property. I felt the pictures were misleading compared to what was provided. My stay included 5 children under 6. This property is not suitable for this age group. After being in the property for 1 day, my children’s feet were black due to the dirty floors. Additionally I read the warnings about the stair cases and can confirm they are steep, varying in size and hard to navigate for children. My children also found a cigarette and lighter in a room. The property is run down and in need of work. There is peeling paint in the bathroom, chipping grout in the kitchen, missing towel racks, broken closet doors snd scuffs all over the walls and stair. The furniture and rugs pictured are not included in the property currently. The chairs in the kitchen are broken and the rugs are in need of deep cleaning. This was not a positive experience for our family and I cannot recommend this property until these issues are addressed or at minimum the photos are updated to reflect the current status of the property.

Summary: This house is beautiful. It's close to all of the things my co-workers and I needed, access to work, food, and the airport. The neighborhood shows it's age, but that age is part of the appeal as well.

Summary: Overall a good deal and a good house! It wasn't the cleanest, but it wasn't disgusting by any means. I'm guessing we may have checked in immediately after another party. Wasn't a deal-breaker as everything else suited our needs perfectly. We brought a high school cross country team and it allowed them to have a far better experience than a hotel.

Summary: We were pleased with the house and it's location to the Space and Rocket Center. The owners were very responsive thru the whole process answering questions prior to the trip and getting the AC fixed the day we arrived. Thanks again.

Summary: I booked this house based on prior communication with Management stating they could accommodate our request for 3 pack and plays. Only after I booked was I told it was a miscommunication and only 1 was available. I also requested early check in. Nothing had been confirmed or declined. Upon early arrival I was told could not get in early. Windows are/were filthy, window sills in the bathroom had mold on them. Insufficient supplies for the party size. Ok for a small group not large family with 5 under 5 years old.
