Summary: It was a busy weekend in New Buffalo, so maybe it was difficult for staff to keep up. The hotel is undergoing renovation, we might have gotten an older room. Housekeeping is probably short staff, the room could have been cleaned better. Tub was stained and there were dust behind furniture. Refrigerator was iced up. The staff were always polite. Although the immediate location was not ideal, it was closed to town (5 min drive). Maybe it gets better once renovation is complete.

Summary: The sign out on the main road is small. We almost missed it. The hotel is older and they are remodeling. The street has 2 restaurants closed and have been for a while. So we thought we were in the wrong area. But the remodeled area of the hotel is nice. Breakfast was sufficient. The coffee was good. Our room was inviting, clean, and cozy.

Summary: It is get better fixing it up really nice. One thing I would say is need to get bed sheets that fit/stay on the bed.

Summary: The location is perfect, close to everything. The place just needs a little TLC, attention to cleaning in the corners and behind tables etc. We cleaned the AC vents which was new but just needed the vents to all be cleaned. Our room faces the courtyard which was very quiet, but again out the window we saw large weeds and litter around the building in front, garbage bins full. Just needs a little more attention to those details and it would be great! I'd like to stay a week and weed and tidy up for a free stay 🙂. Just go room to room and fix small things to make it nicer . You've got a nice location

Summary: This was a decent place. Its sucluded due to all business around it being abandoned. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The breakfast wasnt very good but hey its free right? Over all it was worth the money but could use some updates done.
