Stroll 150 metres to Beach, Shops, Cafes, Tavern and all that Tuross Head has to offer. Tuross is renown for its unspoilt beaches, lakes and estuaries. Park your car & leave it. The Blue Canoe Holiday house is large open plan house with space to relax and unwind. Accommodation is on the first floor so guests will need to manage the stairs. Stair safety gate is provided for parents to use if bringing little ones.
NOTE: due to CoVid 19, the Blue Canoe will be undergoing an additional sanitising regime after each guest and guests are encouraged to BYO pillows. New pillow protectors will also be available for every guest, every time. Guests with concerns are invited to contact the owner for more information regarding sanitisation and steps we are taking to maintain a clean safe environment. We believe our home can be your haven during these difficult times.
FREE UNLIMITED WIFI internet with UTube and movie streaming. The house is Air Conditioned, has a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, (NOTE: only freshly laundered items to be placed in dryer), huge fridge and dining table big enough for the whole family to enjoy a meal! The kitchen has every convenience so you can stay in and cook up a storm if you need a break from the local restaurants and Tavern. In house entertainment for young and old, including a Wii2 with several games. We offer a book shelf full of interesting books, DVDs and a spa bath (switch is on wall beside pot plant) to provide you with every comfort for lazy days in. The huge balcony is furnished with enough chairs for all, and a quality BBQ which provides a lovely spot for an evening beverage and cook up.
THE KINGS ROOM: We provide a comfortable spinal support King size bed with in room TV & ensuite. The king room opens up to the balcony with chairs for your morning coffee or late morning start. The King size bed is freshly made up ready for you and bath towels/handtowels are provided.
THE QUEENS ROOM: Comfortable quality ensemble with body form mattress topper. Linens and bath towels provided
KIDS ROOM: This room is the largest room but it's not only for kids! The kids room has a Tri-Bunk (single on top, double on bottom) plus an additional single bed (sleeps 4 comfortably). The Double bed has a bamboo mattress topper. . the single bed has a body form mattress topper. The room has block out curtains and a lockable door accessing the balcony Toys and books are provided for the little ones. Linens and bath towels are provided.
All beds are very comfortable and have fresh Linens provided, bath towels for each guest along with doonas, pillows and extra blankets. BYO Beach towels!
This place is great for kids and the young at heart. You will find a terrific kiddies playground only 100 metres from the front door! Bring your house trained fur-baby with you! We have a dog friendly beach just 3 minutes walk away. Some limits during peak season. We also have a secure back yard, accessible through garage or side gates with high fences (8ft) for your dog. large doggies are welcome too. However they should stay outside and sleep down stairs - unless otherwise approved. Service dogs are accepted regardless. A big Double Garage is also available to secure your car and your boat and fishing gear.
A welcome basket of goodies is also provided for every guest.
We provide all the basics for you including soaps, shampoo in main bedroom ensuite, dishwashing tablets, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, Nespresso Coffee Machine and pods, tea towels, kiddies plates and cutlery, high seat, paper towel, toilet paper and other general pantry items such as sauces, spices, salt and pepper, cling wrap and foil etc.
We also provide Iron and ironing board, not that you will want to do any of that on your break!!!!. We want your stay to be super easy. The kitchen utensils and equipment are suitable for cooking for a large family. Its a real home away from home.
We provide unlimited internet and WIFI connectivity for guests. With Utube and streaming movies. 58’ smart TV, WII console with games and multiple handsets. Sony DVD player with approximately 100 DVDs

We are dog friendly but.......
Please use outside taps/hose to rinse sand off yourself and your dog before entering the house
Please please don’t put your dog in the bath - it’s unhygienic. It’s a spa bath and hair clogs the drains and vents and is expensive and time consuming to fix.
Please keep big doggies outside or downstairs and never leave your dog inside when you are out. The back yard is very secure.
Please, we ask you to be respectful of our pet friendly attitude. Please Don’t ruin it for others by allowing your dog in the bedrooms and particularly not on our beds under any circumstances.

These beautiful azure blue, crystal clear waters are home to Dolphins, Seals, amazing Fish, Whales and other marine life. Snorkel with the Seals at nearby Montague Island, hire a boat or kayak to explore the water or coast line, or just a build sandcastle on the shore. Scenic golf course and country club, for those who wish to have a hit. Easy walking paths along the gorgeous waterfront also make Tuross Head a great place to discover, despite age or ability.
