Relax with the whole family or friends or colleagues at this peaceful and convenient place.
The house is located in the safe, quiet and small neighborhood on the top of the hill looking down to Hal Greer Blvd with restaurants, gas stations nearby. Just 4 minutes to I-64, Ritter Park and Cabell Huntington Hospital; less than 10 minutes to Huntington downtown or Marshall University with various options for dining or shopping. Couldn’t be more convenient!
The space
Beautiful house on the hill with 27-step stair with 3 flights and 3 landings to the main floor where you will find 3 bedrooms, living room, bathroom, kitchen and dining area. The basement is for laundry.

Free parking spaces (maximum 2 cars) on street across the house is available anytime.
Being on a hill, therefore, the house gets plenty of sunlight and a view of the woods. The short windy, hilly road that leads here and the steps to the house suggest that this place is not going to work for people with mobility challenges.
Other things to note
* 2 Pets are allowed but we ask you tell us about your good fur babies before approval, and we love pictures! Must be flea treated and crated any time left alone. For each stay, we charge a $25 deep-cleaning fee. Clean up after your pets and Respect our house.

Summary: My husband, son, mother in law, aunt and myself stayed at this house while visiting Marshall university. It was little but very not cramped/crowded for the 5 of us. I highly recommend staying here!

Summary: Overall satisfied with the accommodations. Found kitchen lacking pots,pans etc. Also had wine glasses but no opener for the wine bottles. Basically very happy with our visit there.

Summary: House was clean. Had all necessities I needed to be comfortable. I liked the location. It was just what I needed. Would stay here again.

Summary: The pictures are very misleading on the VRBO listing. In reality, the house needs a lot of work. The twin beds are too small for any adult to sleep in and the sheets were dirty. Kitchen was cluttered, there were unclean dishes in the rack above the sink and there was a used k cup in the kuerig machine. We had a horrible night of sleep and were fairly grossed out by the kitchen in general. Other things that weren't super clear in the listing was that there is no on site parking, and we had to haul all of our baby stuff and our own luggage up the steep stairs in the front yard. The stairs are slanted and unsafe. The yard was a mess, not mowed or upkept both front and back. The house in general is run down, paint on the walls is a mess and the two smaller bedrooms were basically useless to us as adults. We'll be asking for a refund and would not recommend this as a place to stay until the owners do some work on it.
