Positive: Blue lizard house was my second home in San Andrés. Liz and Luis were wonderful host/hostess. They were really attentive and wonderful people. The place was a bliss, a beautiful hotel far away from the centre of the island which can be very stressful and chaotic. The pool is right next to the sea and there’s also a deck if you want to watch the sunset

Positive: My stay at the Blue Lizard House was simply fantastic! Liz and Luiz are such amazing hosts — kind, genuine, and always ready to help with anything. I immediately felt welcomed and at home. The place itself is beautiful and has a very authentic charm. It’s peaceful, surrounded by a lovely garden full of flowers and friendly animals. The room was super nice, comfortable, and spotless — perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the island. And the view! Watching the sunset from the property was absolutely magical. I couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting San Andrés!

Positive: Very clean accommodation in a beautiful and quiet setting, with spacious rooms and a large pool with plenty of space for loungers. You can snorkel and swim in the surrounding area; the location is perfect! The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and you can easily rent a mule there. We had a wonderful time there!

Positive: The hosts are incredibly friendly and are always there to help you. They made their accomodation completely themselves and they really did an amazing job. Beautiful blue houses and a beautiful garden. Also the breakfast and the way they serve it is amazing. You can also rent a very good UTV at their place, so you can easily discover the island. Maybe the location is a little far away from the busy part of the island, but that is also the advantage and in 20 minutes, you are already in the center and you are in much more authentic place with the nicest hosts you can imagine.

Positive: Luis and Liz were fabulous hosts, very chatty and ensured our stay was excellent. Blue Lizard was designed and built by them to a very high standard. Very large rooms and bathroom. Everything you need. Lovely pool. Views of the sea. Quiet. Very clean and spacious. Lovely gardens.

Negative: The slight issue was that the local restaurants tended to shut about 6, but you can get round this using the regular bus service or hiring a mule.

Positive: Very beautiful structure of new construction very well maintained in quiet part of the island. The owners did a great job and are very friendly. I rent a buggy by them to discover the island , absolutely recommended !

Negative: no hot water in the bathroom, far from center (20 km) for dinner

Positive: What a beautiful and restful place! No blasting music at the pool. Loved it. And I appreciated the hosts’s recommendations and care. To get around, there is an island bus which stops right outside the hotel.

Negative: The bed was very hard.
